...to this. Started with an evening picture taken earlier in the month. I took a few (as one does) perhaps for a future timelapse (although I never take a sufficient number of pics and then forget about it). I almost didn't bother today, especially as I had internet problems all day, but when I read the comment of Pixelated Sky that this was an opportunity not to be missed, I thought I'd have a go after all. I even started with Peter's method of duplicating the image and using different blend modes, but then I used a zoom filter and the colours got even crazier. Thanks Peter :)

before the rain ;)

Vibrant sky abstract taken in Lompoul, Senegal. Pushed the saturation a lot on this one to produce the pleasing colours.

A shot I've done before and this certainly isn't the best one as I couldn't remember how I did it and being lazy I didn't bother either looking at my previous images or at the original tutorial.

Common Frogs, at a Norfolk pond, during the 50mph winds. The strange colours and reflections were as recorded and probably due to the slow shutter speed and the movement of the pond weed and leaf debris, blowing over the pond, during the high winds.

For Sliders Sunday ~

I couldn't decide which version to post for SS so in the end I chose this one.....I'd be interested to know which one you prefer!

10. January 2008, the highiest #273

Week 19 in 52 Weeks for Dogs. I tried very hard to get this as a single exposure but unfortunately the 6 second exposure required to light paint the background proved too much even for Taivas' skills at staying motionless. I just kept getting slight blurring so resorted to merging two images, which hasn't been entirely successful. I still can't figure out why her ears look so weird! The light painted bit over her back is deliberate, but I don't think it works - never mind, it was an experiment!

I can't believe we had a sunny afternoon!

Bored... so I pumped a few average looking shots through some crazy filters.

... this picture consists of seven long-epxosures (15 seconds) done with my old canon powershot s30, a three-megapixel-point-and-shoot camera back from 2002.

the tripod was a pile of books, i want to say thank you to mr. genazino for being so productive over the past years :)

edit: the grainy look was caused by postprocessing just like some weird colours at some spots.

edit: desaturation; i think the picture benefits from its vibrant colours.

This is my 400th car photo on flickr and I reckon it can't get any much more special than this Mustang! Enjoy!

Also my second upload of the day is a bright and striking colour as well as a real special car. The first M6 I have spotted on the roads of Hong Kong!

It was an awesome spotting day - one of the best if not even the very best ever! I could say many crazy things about this car but to say it with the language of the young: what a SICK car!

It's time again to upload another photo of this absolutely stunning car.

With only 24 of them worldwide it doesn't get much more special than this. For sure one of the highlights on the roads of Hong Kong!

Even in car spoilt Hong Kong this Hummer is outstanding. The bright shining yellow, the chrome rims are really great. I would have only wished it has a more special licence plate.

Inspired by Annette's fantastic cosmetic creations. I have not played around with makeup to this extent in years, so don't look too closely!

Slid (like crazy) for Sunday. HSS!

A rather unusual colour combination but as owner/driver you can be sure the car will be an eyecatcher.

It's green, it's fast, it's loud, it's a Lamborghini!

Not sure what model/special edition it is so help of all the Lambo experts is highly appreciated!

Not your average BMW, not an average colour on an M3 and not an average licence plate either. More than enough reasons for me for an upload. :)
