If there's one place that consistently takes my breath away, it'd be Cley, of course. This was a difficult shot because I was shooting into the sun. The bench looks very grand. It has a fabulous view over the marshes.
Ezekiel 35:8-9 “And I will fill his mountains with his slain. In thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy water-courses shall they fall that are slain with the sword. I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not be inhabited: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.”
As we drove around 17-Mile-Drive on the Monterey Peninsula of California, we passed by this green on a golf course on the Pacific Ocean. The vegetation in the rough on this par 3 looked unforgiving.

..."The time is with the month of winter solstice
when the change is due to come
thunder in the other course of heaven
things cannot be destroyed once and for all
change returns success
going and coming without error
action brings good fortune

BNSF vehicle train V TACLPC1 24F punches through the solid basalt hole known as Drano Tunnel (Tunnel #2) near Cook, WA, in the Columbia River Gorge. Drano Tunnel is the first of five tunnels the train will pass thorugh in the next 3 miles as it and parallel Washington Route 14 navigate the narrow confines of land crammed between the northern bank of the Columbia River and numerous rock formations, lakes, and steep slopes. CREX 1206 is working rear-end DPU duty, shoving hard to get the autoracks rolling at track speed after holding for Amtrak on the fast-paced and heavily utilized Fallbridge Subdivision.
Over the course of the Covid 19 pandemic I have taken a series of photos on my regular perambulations around Edgbaston Reservoir that commenced with the first national lockdown at the end of March 2020. The photos are archived in my Flickr album entitled "Covid 19". This latest batch of photos taken on a very frosty morning last week complete coverage of this location through the four seasons. A cold night had frozen the surface of the reservoir in many places and heavy frost coated the ground and vegetation.

I am not sure about this image, the surface of Loch Stack was heavily rippled by the wind and uninviting but I persevered with a 10 stop ND filter resulting in a 30 second exposure. What do you think?
A RAAF plane took off in the shared runway with our QANTAS flight in Newcastle Airport. It looks just like a collision from this angle.
