From Québec City, we headed south and east to New Brunswick, the penultimate province of our journey. We had initially planned to stay in Woodstock, NB, but realizing we would need to be in Halifax by noon the next day, we set course instead for Fredericton, the provincial capital, and a place we had visited before.
A note to all those interested in things linguistic... New Brunswick is Canada's only officially bilingual province. All the others are either officially unilingual English, and even Québec is unilingual French... Many provinces, more out of curtesy, offer some/limited services in both official languages, but pushed into a corner, especially a constitutional one, every province except New Brunswick, cannot be required to provide services in both languages.

We took a trip to the new frisbee golf course, and we like it a lot!! There is a sort of old-style playground, pure grass & it's right by the river. It was a beautiful day!
