This is the Peterborough Golf and Country Club in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, that caught my morning attention. I was in Peterborough celebrating my sons college graduation.

Another structure country barn style in Hershey, PA. I think it's one of the buildings for the Hershey Country Club. If somebody knows more, I'll gladly fix the name.
It really is my favourite time of the day. I really prefer a sunrise to a sunset. The lighting in the morning coupled with the dew is very picturesque. The stillness and the quietness around me is very peaceful.

I found this shot in my archives. This is the building that houses the in-door tennis courts at the Alabang Country Club. It is a 3-exposure HDR. One of my very first HDR shot with the long lens.
This is the fifth hole, looking over the green back towards the tee box. The blossoms right now are in full swing, and with rain and wind in the forecast, I decided to grab a shot before it all blows away.
The trees line the fairway along Golf Course Road. Sunshine would have been better, but it's all going to disappear in but moments!

Taken at a cousin's wedding at the Westmoreland Country Club outside of Chicago, IL this past weekend.
The image stabilization on my lens is crucial for situations like this when I want to take three exposures but don't have a tripod. A steady hand helps too.

A few years ago while at a photoshoot at a country club someone called out "Guy! Look!". I quickly turned around and this is one of the snaps I got.

The big color show is now over, but I find the mute late autumn colors and contrast to be very pleasing. Add a little sunshine, blue sky and ice to the view and magic happens!
Soon it will be white, wet and wild, another photography world. I'm perfectly alright with this for now!

Ahhh, golf... the game of the elite.
Time to head out to the pasture pool for some divot digging.
But first, some refreshments here at the country club. They serve great root beer with a big foamy head.
And the pizza! Classic pepperoni and cheese.
Maybe enjoy the sun stretched out on the lounge chairs.
The deli sandwiches are good too. Maybe watch for a lovely lass who is trying to learn the game.

Flambro is another of our favorite brands for the Peanuts license. We had an account with them when we had our collectibles store and Flambro never failed to delight with their colorful and innovative designs.
This series, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Snoopy (Which occured in 2000), features six figurines, each of them incredibly cute, such as Golfer Snoopy here.

A moody afternoon with clouds and sunshine along the fairway where yes, I have deposited a golf ball or two . . . it's the fairway to the 17th green.
We have lost most of the leaves, but the grass is still green due to no real hard frost . . . YET! :)

When one looks back form the green to the fairway , it seems so innocuous. Why does one fret at the thought of crossing the water on your approach shot to the green? (because the water eats so many golf balls)

Lewis was a little tired this morning and fell asleep on the floor, so gran and mommy got him nice and comfortable - I'm just hoping he sleeps all the way across The Atlantic.
