Happy Sliders Sunday ... seemed appropriate for this classic car for some selective coloring. All done within Lightroom.
Corvette weekend down at Ocean City, Maryland.
My father-in-law gifted his Corvette to Jill yesterday. He has too many health issues to deal with it anymore, so wanted us to enjoy it.

Finally an event I could go to and take photos at. There was a car show in the parking lot of Gemmens and the old Family Fare store.
I've always dreamed of having a Corvette or a Datsun 280Z. I couldn't pass up the opportunity with some cloud reflections.
This, too, is from the Goodguys Car Show of 2016, located at the Fairgrounds, Puyallup, Washington. I particularly like hot rods, but if I were to pick a favorite Corvette style, this one would rank right up there! I don't know the particulars (I should ask my husband! ha!), but if you are a car enthusiast, please feel free to leave it in the comments.
My husband just loves cars, and Corvettes in particular, so we enjoy going to car shows whenever we get the chance...and take lots n' lots of pictures! ha! I tell him he ought to be a photographer for a car magazine, but he hasn't done it yet! ha!
Hope you all enjoy!

Overall composition showing the Corvette parade there in Ocean City, Maryland. Liked this view with the sunlight sneaking into the scene and on the cars, and overall how the people are all interacting in the scene as well.

It's not easy to think of a car more iconic than the Corvette. The old ones were so stunning in their beautiful lines, and a visceral driving experience. I'm sad I never got to print this in a darkroom.
