Corrado is one of the most experienced barber of Sicily. He has a beautiful shop, liberty style, at Syracuse.
Corrado è uno dei migliori barbieri di Sicilia. Ha una bellissima bottega in stile liberty a Siracusa.
I was in Utah's Tooele Valley on July 18, 1992 for a morning of photography on the Lynndyl Subdivision. I parked my 1990 VW Corrado on an access road along the big cut at Erda, Utah. I crossed the right of way to the "dark side" and set up to catch the HKYR (Hinkle, Oregon - Yermo, California) merch train as it passed. I could see a big cloud of dust near my car and realized a large herd of cattle were on the approach. Soon, they completely surrounded my little sport coupe. Not only that, the HKYR was on the approach.
I grabbed this photo as the 70-car drag passed me by, and looked over at my car and the cows were gone! Vanished. Not a trace. I walked back to the Corrado and soon realized there were several dents in the body work, apparently from cow butts. Through the open door window, the steering wheel was covered with cow snot. I'm not kidding. You can't make this stuff up.
Not sure if the photo was worth it, but I will never forget that day.
