The COVID-19 Caregiver Cockpit inside of CANKADO is made for healthcare professionals caring for #COVID19 patients. It is designed to track body temperature and oxygen saturation from patients who are not connected to a control center and who can use their smartphone. The tool can be used for in- and outpatients. ‘COVID-19 Caregiver Cockpit’ is a registered medical device in the European Union and compliant with the US-FDA requirements for mobile medical devices. The current version is available in English, Italian, Spanish, and German. Further languages will be made available as soon as possible.

As CANKADO is a mobile medical device, physicians using CANKADO must be verified. But because of the urgency of the situation, we have simplified our validation process. The virus infects both the upper and lower respiratory tract. That means it is contagious, and can cause pneumonia. People who are infected initially develop a fever, cough and aches, and can progress to shortness of breath and complications from pneumonia, according to case reports. Of nearly 56,000 patients in China, 87.9% had a fever, 67.7% had a dry cough, 38.1% experienced fatigue and 18.6% had shortness of breath. Other, less common symptoms included sore throat, headache, aches, chills, repeated shaking with chills, vomiting, diarrhea and nasal congestion. Some people report losing the senses of taste and smell.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that people with severe symptoms should seek medical treatment immediately. Those severe symptoms include:
• Difficulty in breathing or shortness of breath
• Persistent pain or pressure in the chest
• Bluish lips or face
✔️Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
✔️Cover your mouth and nose while sneezing and coughing.
✔️Avoid consuming raw or undercooked animal products.
✔️Don’t make close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness.
✔️Avoid direct contact with live animals.

શું કરવું?
- હાથ સાબુ અને પાણીથી ધોવા જોઈએ.
- ખાંસી કે છીંક ખાતા મોં પર રૂમાલ અવશ્ય રાખવો જોઈએ.
- શરદી કે ફ્લૂના લક્ષણ દેખાતા હોય તેવા વ્યક્તિઓ સાથે સંપર્ક ટાળવો જોઈએ.

- જાહેર જગ્યાએ ના થૂંકવું.
- સંક્રમિત દેશોમાં વિદેશ પ્રવાસ ટાળવો.
- તળેલા અથવા મસાલેદાર ખોરાક ના ખાવો.
- ભીડ ભાડ વાળી જગ્યા એ ના જવું.
- વધારે પડતા ઠંડા-પીણાં કે આઈસ્ક્રીમ ખાવી નહિ.
