Situated in the Jungar Basin , this area is famous for its wind-eroded landform features .
At twilight time , whistling winds often sweep up stones and sand to give out a hauntingly shrill sound .

As you all know I love playing with the light and This is one of my all time top images, it is just like a dream the fog the light and those lovely misty colours, more to come from this magical morning!
The top half is the original and the rest is obviously photoshopped but I feel that this is more the direction that I am heading for, making my photography more of an art form than just a straightforward image, some of you may not care for this type of vision but please let me know what you think?

This natural wonder is covered with yellowish layers of earth rich in carbonate of lime and marked beautifully with pools of water colored in different hues of green , emerald and blue ( due to the mineral content of the water ) , Huanglong is a favorite for tourists when visiting Sichuan .
Reminded many of Pamukkale in Turkey , I suppose .

Headed out this morning to the old faithful stomping ground - Turimetta. I had received a tip from my good bud that the green was out in force. Not long after I was there, Mother nature let rip with this amazing sky that lasted for about 10 mins.
Processed the sky as a HDR and blended back into the single exposure that had the rocks and sand. Used a Cokin GND8 for to hold back the sky and believe it or not, I actually had to reduce the saturation in PS.
Thanks for looking
