Little bunny tells about her dream, she had last night to her brother and mother.~~~

I was just passing by when I overheard their conversation ;-))

It is a great model to fold. For the big one I used a silver foil piece of paper 30x30cm and for the little ones, each one piece 15x15cm.

Final size big one: length 12cm, height9,5cm width 5cm

Final size little one: lenght 6cm, height 5,5cm, width 2cm

“To begin to know ourselves we must have sincere conversations with ourselves as if with a good friend. We must answer without reserve, listen without judgement, and accept without condition. That is self-love.”

Jared Odrick, a former defensive end for the NFL, gifted the massive bronze sculpture – titled “Conversation with Myself,” by Colorado-based artist Lorri Acott. The sculptures are in the Coleman Park of Lebanon, PA, one of which is 11′ tall, the other 6′. These sculptures created a lot of mixed responses in the social media. Some people thought the sculptures, were creepy, stunning and provoking, hauntingly beautiful, an adult preying on kids, an alien encounter, etc. People wasn't prepared for this kind of art but the sculptures are still there and Odrick said he hopes the statue gives people who see it “an opportunity to stop, to pause, and take some time to interpret it.”

~~~ "Skull" and his nephew "Robot" are looking forward to seeing their friends again……. soon. But for now they still have time for their annual conversation to share all the news before celebrating Halloween with their friends ... A lot can happen in a year ……~~~
I folded "Skull" and his nephew "Robot" from one sheet brown foil (13x13cm). Interestingly, when you fold this model the other way around, so making the colored side to the main color, this origami model is more like a robot. Final size about 7,5x7,5cm.
It is easy to fold, why not give it a try? ;-))
“The art of conversation is the art of hearing as well as of being heard.”
Always good catching up with old friends :)
As 2022 draws to a close, I am looking forward to turning the page on this year, which has been a difficult one for me, and starting the new chapter that is 2023.
There are a few lines from a Josh Groban song called "Thankful", that I have always loved:
Even with our differences
There is a place we're all connected
Each of us can find each others' light
For me, Flickr has become a beautiful place to find that light and that connection, especially in a world that seems to grow increasingly dark and troubled. So I want to share a deep and sincere Thank You to all my Flickr friends and contacts for the light you give and all the ways in which you uplift my spirit. Thank you for sharing your talents and creativity which both awe and inspire me, for sharing your beautiful places, special moments, and great adventures, for your thoughtful and generous support of my photography and writing, and most of all for your personal kindness, caring, and humanity. I truly enjoy all of the conversations, comments, and connection with each of you, and am incredibly thankful for your encouragement and good wishes through some of the tough times this year.
I am profoundly grateful to have met such wonderful people here on Flickr. Because in the words of the incomparable Maya Angelou in the poem below,
"Nobody, but nobody, Can make it out here alone.
I wish each of you health, happiness, and beautiful light (both in photography and life) in the new year ahead!
Alone
by Maya Angelou
Lying, thinking
Last night
How to find my soul a home
Where water is not thirsty
And bread loaf is not stone
I came up with one thing
And I don't believe I'm wrong
That nobody,
But nobody
Can make it out here alone.
Alone, all alone
Nobody, but nobody
Can make it out here alone.
There are some millionaires
With money they can't use
Their wives run round like banshees
Their children sing the blues
They've got expensive doctors
To cure their hearts of stone.
But nobody
No, nobody
Can make it out here alone.
Alone, all alone
Nobody, but nobody
Can make it out here alone.
Now if you listen closely
I'll tell you what I know
Storm clouds are gathering
The wind is gonna blow
The race of man is suffering
And I can hear the moan,
'Cause nobody,
But nobody
Can make it out here alone.
Alone, all alone
Nobody, but nobody
Can make it out here alone.
