Congratulations to our Junior High students Donn Luis Diaz and Aaliyah Leonor for winning 1st and third place respectively in the 2016 Lady of Light Poster Art Contest! This Art and Literature ompetition was sponsored by Our Lady of Light Parish Church of Cainta last November 2016 to honor of the Blessed Virgin Mother through the talents and skill of the young student artist and writers from the different schools of Cainta.
Special thanks to Art Coach Dona Luis Diaz and Teacher Ellen for their support and hard work in coaching our artist for many months in preparation of this even! We are very proud of all of you!

This was taken from above to show all 4 sides at once. The "background" consisted of LOTS of differant artificial flowers, and plants, 3 2ft floral foam, 1 18" x 12" x 2",
4 24" x 12" Moss runner, 1 can of spray adhesive, 20 wood pieces (craft wood for custruction projects) , 1 3ft square wooden dowel, handful of 3mm beads (eyes for "fuzzy's"), 3 tiny birds and 2 mini butterflies, wire, and finally, LOTS of hot glue sticks.
The base is 12 inches deep, 14 inches long, and 2inches thick. The back is 1/2 inch thick, 15 inches wide, and 18 inches tall. Finally the sides are set at an angle for a wider view. they are 18 inches tall, and 13 inches long. All of the pieces were joined with glue and screws.
