We stopped at a stand up the street to dig into some burgers after the contest. This is a PA Dutch Burger (topped with mashed potatos and gravy).
Nessa sexta-feira (25/10), a Escola Latino Americana de Agroecologia (ELAA), situada no Assentamento Contestado, município da Lapa, região sul do Paraná, formou a terceira de Tecnólogo em Agroecologia. A comemoração aconteceu na própria escola.
A turma, batizada de Semente Latina, conta com 49 educandos de vários estados brasileiros, além de outros países como o Paraguai, Republica Dominicana, Colômbia e Equador.
Em 27 de agosto de 2005, foi implementada a Escola Latino Americana de Agroecologia (ELAA) na sede do assentamento. Fruto de uma iniciativa entre a Via Campesina, com apoio do governo estadual do Paraná e pelo Instituto Federal do Paraná, além do apoio do governo da Venezuela, a escola promove a formação de jovens, oriundos de comunidades camponesas e movimentos sociais da Via Campesina, no curso de graduação Tecnologia em Agroecologia.
O curso de graduação tem três anos de duração, com aulas que funcionam por etapas, em regime de alternância, entre tempo escola e tempo comunidade, com uma média de 60 a 70 dias cada etapa.
A formatura da primeira turma de Tecnólogos em Agroecologia ocorreu em junho de 2009, durante a 8ª Jornada de Agroecologia, que aconteceu em Francisco Beltrão, no total foram 23 formandos que compuseram a turma batizada de Mata Atlântica. Já a segunda, turma Resistência Camponesa, com 39 educandos, se formou em abril de 2010.

SFAMSC holds an annual Academic competition from preschool to grade 10 as an opportunity for students to further deepen their knowledge in fundamental subjects like math and science. These contests are designed to inspire students to study and enjoy the thrill of competition!
