Here is my ereader all cozy in its new home. I've included 2 pockets, 1 for my glasses or cleaning cloth and 1 for my card adapter, so that I always have it with me. I like that I can keep a pair of glasses with me.
Thank you,

Using Photomatix, generated HDR and adjusted Tone Mapping using these settings:
Strength: 20
Color Saturation: 80
Luminosity: +2
Light Smoothing: 2nd from left radio button
Microcontrast: 0
White Point: 6.997
Black Point: 1.055
Gamma: 1.36
Temperature: +1
Saturation Highlights: +6
Saturation Shadows: -7
Then in Photoshop, I adjusted some of the colors - boosted green shadows, blue highlights. Also, did some dodge action on the lights to make them pop.
I like color, and lots of it, so that's what I ended up with!
SORRY! I forgot to mention, the original 5 photos came from cammyjams - here's a link to their photostream: flickr.com/photos/36113180@N00/ Thanks for hosting the contest!

photo 1501 - I took my grandkids, Isabella & Jack off on a summer vacation, staying at
(of course) Best Westerns in Washington and Oregon. Here's the schedule,
with photos from most of our stops:
Best Western Lighthouse Suites Inn
Ocean Shores , Washington
We had a great time swimming, flying our kite and building sand castles, but
Grammie Cammie forgot to take any pictures there.
Best Western Park Place Inn & Suites
Chehalis , Washington
I took the kids to Mt. St. Helen's. It was truly amazing. Then we took a
ride on the local steam train. It was really fun (see attached photos).
Best Western University Inn & Suites
Forest Grove, Oregon
I took the kids fishing and they caught their 1st fish (3 each, see attached
photo). They were so excited. They loved the "hospitality station" at this
hotel and made themselves cocoa and grabbed a few of the fresh cookies.
Best Western Mill Creek Inn
Salem , Oregon
This was a fabulous Best Western. They even gave us vouchers for breakfast
at the Denny's across the street. We had a suite and Jack was very excited
about the recliner. The pool area was really fabulous and it was hard to
get them out of the water long enough to visit our friend's farm nearby. I
took many pool pictures but have attached only one, plus a picture of the
kids at the farm (see attached photos).
We really had a great time and every Best Western had something special to
offer plus a really wonderful and helpful staff.
Thanks for a wonderful summer vacation!

Fifth-grade students who submitted Arbor Day posters to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources had their work judged by a panel of forestry experts and a special guest judge, Maryland First Lady Yumi Hogan, who is an accomplished artist and adjunct professor at Maryland Institute College of Art.
The Maryland Forest Service accepted hundreds of entries for the 2022 Arbor Day Poster Contest. Previously selected winners from each participating county were then forwarded for judging by the volunteer Maryland Urban and Community Forest Committee.
The Arbor Day Poster Contest is hosted annually by the department’s Tree-Mendous Maryland Program.
