Fantasy Screams Monster Madness Halloween Party and $1,000 Costume Contest took place on Friday, October 28, 2011 inside the LIT at fantasy Springs Resort Casino. The party featured live music, special drinks and spooky party favors. Costumed guests entered to win their share of over $1,000 in cash prizes in the following costume contest categories:
1.Best Overall Costume -- $250 cash
2.Best Couple Costume -- $400 cash ($200 each guest)
3.Scariest Costume -- $200 cash
4.Sexiest Costume -- $200 cash
September guest photographer contest topic: demography and migration
Take part in our guest photographer contest, inspired by 2015 being the European Year for Development. From January until September we have been announcing different topics linked to development. Send us your photo inspired by the latest theme, along with the submission form and you could be invited to Strasbourg to do a photo reportage.
How to take part
You can submit your photo and entry form by email. This time your submission can contain either one picture or a reportage of up to five photos. The deadline for the last topic "Demography and Migration " is 30 September at midnight CET.
An editorial committee will select the ten best entries and then pick the best photo of the month. This will automatically make them a finalist for the jury prize. The ten best photos of each month are showcased on Parliament's Facebook and G+ page where you can vote for your favourite. At the end of the contest, the most liked photo will be awarded the public prize. Both of these photographers will be invited to the plenary session in November 2015.
The best photo for the July/August theme of children and youth was taken by Daniela Nenkova, a 35-year-old travel photographer from Bulgaria. The photo shows a small girl in the city of Udaipur, India.

Sunday's Anime Idol contest. Share, download, cut and paste. Do whatever you want. One caveat: As long as it is done with kindness. I don't want my photos used for bullying, etc.
There was a photo contest to take a photo with the supermodelquin and submit online. I couldn't resist. Here the in-camera edit "Happy Faces" was used to give me the frozen smile. I actually was able to use it twice over to level 5. The best part is this retouch novelty feature on my cam also worked on the supermodelquin. Style: The wig was airbrushed with Liquitex Liquid Acrylics in several stages and coats to prevent the colors of the rainbow from mixing with each other. I wanted to get a nice pastel rainbow effect to the wig, so the main option was to hand dye it myself. The jareth was a great choice for how spiky and full her hair is, and I love the quality of the wig. It styles very easily, and I had to do almost no styling to achieve her "spiky" look here.
