The refurbished stator for turbine five at Snoqualmie Falls Plant 1 is carefully lowered into the cavity on February 15, 2013.
The "stator" is the stationary component of a turbine, while the rotor is what rotates when water passes through it.
Because of extremely tight clearances around the stator, crews used ropes to stabilize it.

Earthquake-ready Abernethy Bridge
The project will upgrade the Abernethy Bridge to withstand a major earthquake. Once complete, the Abernethy Bridge will be the first earthquake-ready interstate structure across the Willamette River in the Portland metropolitan area, making I-205 the regional north-south lifeline route after a disaster.
The George Abernethy Bridge, or simply Abernethy Bridge, is a steel plate and box girder bridge that spans the Willamette River between Oregon City and West Linn, Oregon, United States, and which carries Interstate 205. It is also known as the Oregon City Freeway Bridge and the I-205 Bridge.

SR 20 from the Coupeville ferry terminal to SR 525/East Race Road in Island County is part of the 2018 resurfacing project. Whidbey Island travelers who use this route or take it to get to or from the ferry terminal should be prepared for delays of at least 30 minutes while crews work on this nearly 4 mile stretch.
Two miles of SR 20 between Marblemount and Newhalem will get a new surface in 2018. Road repair and crack sealing will be done before a new surface layer is added to this Skagit County highway. It provides local access, as well as a route across the Cascades and into North Cascade National Park typically during the spring through fall seasons.
A one mile stretch of SR 530 through Arlington is included in the 2018 project. This area between SR 9 and Twin Rivers Park is a very busy stretch and we'd expect delays to be significant during work in this area.

Capital Dock is one of the largest mixed-use developments ever built in Ireland and it was completed towards the end of 2018 but I was unable to gain access to the completed project until Easter weekend 2019. The compex spans 4.8 acres, providing more than 690,000sq ft of new mixed-use space, including offices, retail and family units, as well as more than 1.5 acres of public park space.
Global investment bank JP Morgan and jobs site Indeed have committed to occupy all of the available office space, and are preparing their new premises for occupancy in 2019.
Nearly 200 family units will be available to rent this year, with a dedicated on-site concierge, resident lounges, cinema, professional gym, business suites and a chef’s kitchen. There is also be a landscaped park and square open to the public.
The project will welcome new retailers in the coming year, including a restaurant and bar with a terrace, a gourmet grocer, and additional food and beverage offerings.

Most people would probably not find this interesting...but, I am periodically shooting the progress of this overpass construction project. I think it is projected as a $600 million project. YIKES!

On April 25, Mount Vernon community members gathered at the new Blackburn substation for a celebration and information session. The new substation, with capacity to serve about 4,000 homes and businesses, also was built to accommodate future growth in Mount Vernon and outlying areas.

Since one or two (maybe) of you are wondering “What is “MTO?”, the following is the naming history of this facility:
- Mississippi Test Operations (MTO), as of 18 December 1961

- National Space Technology Laboratories (NSTL), as of 14 June 1974
- John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC), as of 20 May 1988.
The amount of detail/resolution within the image is seriously impressive, revealed by my generous 1200 dpi scan of it. Although there is greater than expected peripheral waviness due to the military-grade adhesive used to affix the caption on the verso, it doesn't detract from the photograph:
The referenced caption. The careless & glaringly erroneous nature of the mislabeling leads me to believe it to be of NASA origination.
Regardless, it was obviously meant for an internal audience:
