Ranunculus, densely layered, blooms opened beautifully, not always evident, their stems are extremely delicate and do tend to just collapse before the bud can open into a gorgeous voluptuous bloom...

The conga line is a novelty dance that was derived from the Cuban carnival dance of the same name and became popular in the US in the 1930s and 1950s.
Small, red variety of tulips.
It is a hot dance, they are perspiring!

The conga, also known as tumbadora, is a tall, narrow, single-headed drum from Cuba. Congas are staved like barrels and classified into three types: quinto (lead drum, highest), tres dos or tres golpes (middle), and tumba or salidor (lowest). Congas were originally used in Afro-Cuban music genres such as conga (hence their name) and rumba, in which each drummer would play a single drum. Following numerous innovations in conga drumming and construction during the mid-20th century, as well as its internationalization, it became increasingly common for drummers to play two or three drums.

East Coast Buses continue to operate a critical timetable on key services between Edinburgh and East Lothian. They also continue to use a mixture of standard madder vehicles on the routes.
Here we see Lothian 186 leading the line on a route 106 to West Granton, being followed by 448 on the 113 to West Granton and 480 on the 26 to Clerwood. 16th June 2020.
