Harpa is a concert hall and conference centre in Reykjavík. Opened in 2011, Harpa was designed by the Danish firm Henning Larsen Architects in co-operation with Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson. The structure consists of a steel framework clad with geometric shaped glass panels of different colours, which are supposed to resemble the basalt landscape of Iceland.

I just couldn't get what I wanted.
maybe the lumen gods deserted me yesterday. I tried sun exposure and under the sunlamp and a combination of the two.
I'm not impressed with how they turned out.
ah...but wait until I post the camellia lumen disaster.

The concert complex consists of four halls with the main auditorium seating 1,800 people. It is the home of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra.
Pritzker Prize winner Jean Nouvel is the architect of the project.
The structure can be likened to a meteor covered by big blue screens, supposed to resemble water, that can be used to project visual content on.

🇫🇷 Après la révolution, l'architecte Frigyes Feszl a été chargé de concevoir un nouvel édifice.
•Inauguré en 1865 sous le nom de Pesti Vigadó, le bâtiment mélange des éléments byzantins, mauresques et romans. Feszl a cherché à créer un style architectural typiquement hongrois.
•Le bâtiment a subi de très lourds dégâts lors des combats et des bombardements de 1945.
•L'époque communiste : Sa reconstruction a pris des décennies. Il a rouvert ses portes en 1980, mais avec un intérieur modernisé qui avait perdu une partie de ses décors d'origine.
•La grande restauration (2004–2014) : Fermé pendant dix ans pour un chantier colossal, le Vigadó a rouvert en 2014. Les restaurateurs ont recréé fidèlement les intérieurs somptueux du XIXe siècle, tout en modernisant les infrastructures techniques.

After the revolution, the architect Frigyes Feszl was commissioned to design a new building.
• Opened in 1865 as the Pesti Vigadó, the building combines Byzantine, Moorish and Romanesque elements. Feszl sought to create a typically Hungarian architectural style.
• The building sustained very heavy damage during the fighting and bombing of 1945.
• The Communist era: Its reconstruction took decades. It reopened in 1980, but with a modernised interior that had lost some of its original décor.
• The major restoration (2004–2014): Closed for ten years whilst undergoing a colossal restoration project, the Vigadó reopened in 2014. The restorers faithfully recreated the sumptuous 19th-century interiors, whilst modernising the technical infrastructure.

Nach der Revolution wurde der Architekt Frigyes Feszl mit dem Entwurf eines neuen Gebäudes beauftragt.
• Das 1865 unter dem Namen „Pesti Vigadó“ eingeweihte Gebäude vereint byzantinische, maurische und romanische Elemente. Feszl strebte die Schaffung eines typisch ungarischen Architekturstils an.
• Das Gebäude erlitt bei den Kämpfen und Bombardierungen im Jahr 1945 sehr schwere Schäden.
• Die kommunistische Ära: Der Wiederaufbau dauerte Jahrzehnte. Es wurde 1980 wiedereröffnet, allerdings mit einem modernisierten Innenraum, der einen Teil seiner ursprünglichen Ausstattung verloren hatte.
• Die umfassende Restaurierung (2004–2014): Nach einer zehnjährigen Schließung aufgrund umfangreicher Bauarbeiten wurde das Vigadó 2014 wiedereröffnet. Die Restauratoren haben die prächtigen Innenräume des 19. Jahrhunderts originalgetreu wiederhergestellt und gleichzeitig die technische Infrastruktur modernisiert.

Il grande maestro Ennio Morricone, autore di capolavori, ha concluso la sua carriera con un ultimo concerto a Lucca, alla veneranda età di 90anni (portati egregiamente)...
