1993 Terrasson won the Thelonious Monk Competition. Few years later he was talk of the Jazz World and can now look back on a terrific career. Born in Berlin (father American; mother French); he studied at Berklee in Boston and met and played with many, who are by now celebrated jazz musicians. He started young (5) with classical piano, but discovered jazz through his mom records, before he became a teen.
At Havana Jazz Festival Jacky Terrasson played with two Cubans; drummer Lukmil Perez and Felipe Cabrera on bass.

I have an opportunity to photograph Alex "Wolfman" Story and his rock/punk band - Cancerslug, based out of Alabama, at 1867 Bar in Lincoln, Nebraska last night [Friday, June 10, 2022]. I have known Alex since I first saw his performance with Doyle in 2015, and saw many more ever since but haven't seen his band Cancerslug, that was something I have no right to miss!! So grateful to see him again; and his band - finally.

Jerry Diaz and Hannah's Reed perform the final set at the 2020 Music On The Bay festival in Tampa, FL. This festival is put on by a coalition of Parrot Head clubs to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children, a network of 22 facilities in North America that offer free health care to chronically ill and disabled children. MOTB is supported in Tampa by the Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club and the Egypt Temple Shriners.
I am a longtime Communications Professional specializing in photography and videography.
Located in the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia) region, I shoot real estate, events, fashion, events, news and sports. There is nothing like breaking out my old film camera and fuji press 800 to shoot a concert. First off its not easy to find fuji press 800 any more as it has been discontinued. This film was my film of choice for all things action, sports and concerts. It held up very well in low light situations and allowed you some latitude to push if needed.
