There were few groups from the USA at the Havana Jazz. 'The Funky Taters' from Tallahasee, Fl. did quite well at Jardines del Teatro Mella. Shanice Richards (violin, vocals) and Sage Khan (trumpet) caught my attention. Cuban group 'Rumberos de Mayabeque', which followed them, actually danced to their music, as they waited for their turn and Cuban virtuoso violinist Emy Abreu joined them on stage.

I was told to shooting from the photo pit, however the band changed their mind at the last minute and wanted us to shoot from the crowd, which it sucked, but the show was awesome.

Jerry Diaz and Hannah's Reed perform the final set at the 2020 Music On The Bay festival in Tampa, FL. This festival is put on by a coalition of Parrot Head clubs to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children, a network of 22 facilities in North America that offer free health care to chronically ill and disabled children. MOTB is supported in Tampa by the Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club and the Egypt Temple Shriners.

There is nothing like breaking out my old film camera and fuji press 800 to shoot a concert. First off its not easy to find fuji press 800 any more as it has been discontinued. This film was my film of choice for all things action, sports and concerts. It held up very well in low light situations and allowed you some latitude to push if needed.
