REALLY simple 5 minute portrait shoot in my back yard. My love for life and beauty is coming back after hibernating through winter. I hate the dark Norwegian winters with a passion... thankfully spring is upon us, with flowers and butterflies and long days filled with light. I wish it could be like this always.

If there´s one thing I wish I could change about myself, it would be to get rid of my extreme fear of flying. There are so many places I'd like to visit and so many things I'd like to see in real life and not just in photos & videos.

But hey, atleast I'm being kind to nature in one of the most effective ways by not flying all the time..

Also, I mean, there's no stopping me from travelling & discovering new places in my photography though hehe! ;)

I always feel safe with you by my side ♡

I've had this creepy recurring dream a few times over the last years..

I'm at my grandmother's house standing in one of her windows, and I suddenly see something emerging from the dark forest. Strange creatures with animal masks covering their faces. As I move from room to room, to window to window, I realize that they're slowly moving closer to the house, towards me. But whenever I stand still and look at them, they don't move, they just stop right in their tracks and look back at me.

That's as far as I've ever gotten into this dream, and I think I'm pretty happy about that...

'If you had the possibility to time travel, where/when would you go..?'

This time of year is always so bittersweet for me..

There are lovely things about these months:

The new, colorful world is extremely beautiful, Halloween is around the corner, it's mushroom season (yay), and we can finally put on our cozy warm sweaters..

But seeing nature "die" in a way, and knowing that we have several months of cold and darkness ahead, also always takes a toll on me.

But I always try my best to keep my spirit up and focus only on the positive things ahead, in order to rise, and not fall along with the leaves..

It's officially spring!

The light is finally starting to win over the darkness, and I can feel the Earth breathing again..

I couldn't be happier!

When I was little, my favorite part about Easter was going out in the morning to look for the candy-filled eggs that my parents (I mean.. The Easter Bunny🐇) had placed somewhere in the backyard🍬

Now I've passed the tradition on to my own children (aka my dogs🐕🐕)

And they seem to love it too.. maybe not the hunt itself, but definitely the 'eating the candy' part!

As a child, I was always afraid to go in a certain room at night..

We had an old clock on the wall which I was terrified of.

Somehow I thought it looked like it had a face, a creepy, grinning one..

And I would make sure to never look into its "eyes" for too long..

"It's dangerous to go alone, take this."

I sure wish I had one of these little supporters with me when I go to investigate the strange sounds I heard in the night..

Wouldn't it be kind of cool if flowers were actually this big?! Just imagine walking through a forest like this, all colourful and in full bloom..

Or would that mean that all the bugs & insects would be as big as giant birds..? Hmm, maybe I'm not as big of a fan of this idea after all..
