My computer, a HP Pavilion dv4154EA, has decided to make a breakdown. So for the next two weeks I wont be around.

Stay cool...

Es que esto se puede describir ¬¬ !!

My PSU (Antec Smartpower 500) was emitting a high pitched whine. Having added a 2nd video card and a 6th hard drive recently, I figured I had hit its limit. Corsair happened to have a rebate on its highly recommended HX620. Problem solved. I also took about 90 minutes to rewire everything as neatly as possible. This is as good as it gets with so many SATA cables.

With the generous donation of computers by the US law firm of Eckert Seamans, Communities Rising was able to open its first computer center in August. For most of our students, these were the first computers they had ever seen.

The video card (long and black in the lower-left quadrant) wouldn't fit with the hard drive cage in place, so I had to detach it and rotate the latter.

This is the computer my new one replaced :)

I was supposed to put this up a month ago when it was accurate. This is my setup while my laptop's LCD was busted. Notice the awesome effect it had on the LCD. Of course, now it's repaired and the CRT is gone, and there are some different books. It's much the same as I type this, though.

I had the weirdest urge to take a picture of my keyboard.

Almost every public workstation has headphones (these are in the children's area). They make an antiseptic spray available and clean them daily. They say they have had few issues despite their more "urban" clientele.

near the Dandenongs. I liked this picture because it looks like a little computer store way out in the middle of nowhere - even though it's not really.

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Thanks to the Exchange, 1,145 incoming freshmen at the U.S. Air Force Academy now have the latest laptops and accessories. Cadets received their computers in early August.

“The 2023 Cadet Computer Issue was a success!” said Cathie Byrns, retail business manager for the Colorado Springs Exchange, which includes the academy. “For some Cadets, these are the first computers they’ve owned. The computer issue is their first taste of the Exchange—a taste that we hope will last a lifetime.”

Young people enjoy using the computers for games, Facebook and other social media options.
