And it just so happens, by coincidence, that this works for the MacroMonday theme "Black" also. So HMM!

Finnieston, Glasgow.

At 127m (417 ft) tall, the Glasgow Tower is currently the tallest tower in Scotland. It holds a Guinness World Record for being the tallest tower in the world in which the whole structure is capable of rotating 360 degrees. The whole structure rests upon a 65cm (26 in) diameter thrust bearing, and is connected to its foundations by two concentric rings and shock absorbers, whilst the thrust bearing rests in a 15m (50 ft) deep caisson; this is designed to allow it to rotate under computer control to face into the wind.

The tower, previously known as the Millennium Tower, was the winning design in an international competition to design a tower for the city centre of Glasgow. The original architectural design was by the architect Richard Horden, with engineering design by Buro Happold, but after commissioning the project was taken over by the Glasgow architects BDP. In the end the tower cost £10 million. Glasgow Council successfully sued contractors Carillion over the quality of the work.

The keyboard on the Netbook is of a "chicklet" type but it actually feels pretty good although the keys are a bit on the small size.

My little Homee is featured on my Desktop.

With more time to kill, Jack and I checked out Paul Allen's Living Computer Museum and saw old home computers and mainframes, many of which allow interaction.

Laptop is sitting on a Zaltman Notebook cooler. It helps about 5C, bought it when I was having some overheating problems. Turns out that the laptop was clogged up with dust, but I prefer the loan drone of the laptop cooler to the higher pitch the laptop makes. Thats assuming I can even hear it over the Boston Speakers :)

In addition to job training, the computer skills developed at Helping Link also keep people in touch with family and friends all over the world.

A crop of another picture, because I didn't think to snap one before I started. One of the only really annoying things about this keyboard is that when you try to use the right shift key, your finger hits the up arrow instead.

Workspaces look neat and organized with computer storage cabinets. These cabinets have provisions to hold entire computer assembly neatly.

The first comercial arcade game, Computer Space, developed by Nolan Bushnell, was based on the classic video game SpaceWar!, and was released in 1971. Though it did not did sell well, Bushnell would nonetheless make a much bigger name for himself when he went on to found Atari.

this was where we moved everything off of my old iBook G4 (mac) to my new MacBook Pro. You can also see HB's mac in the background (along with our messy dining room table) ;-)

I confess. Those are my fingerprints.
