(( this is the 5th of 5 photos I'm uploading today! ))

Hello dear friends! ☺

What can one say about these magnificent early morning sunrises!

Sure I put a little effort into getting out there early as possible to see these views... but I'm just so lucky to witness such stunning atmosphere sometimes!

Mother Nature still controls what we're going to be subjected to in regards to cloud patterns, wind, rain etc.

So I just feel blessed to have had these opportunities :-)

I think the dawn started around 04:30 that morning, and I captured this scene about 05:20.

The sun glow was so bright and really intensified the blue sky (as well as the dark watery areas)

I don't believe I adjusted this photo at all... it was a mix of hot-glowing-starlight and silhouetted boathouse & swan...

about to be engulfed in a fiery blast of sunrise!

☺☺☺

Hope I didn't overwhelm you guys with a 5 photo delivery today :-)

It's just that I'm so busy OFFLINE these days, I'm not sure when I'll have extra time to visit again.

So I wanted to share some memories (and make new ones) with you guys while I had the chance :-)

I'm gonna try and visit everyone in the coming week or two : )

So great to be here with all of you again!!!

Really hope you guys find something interesting or enjoyable in these selections today ☺

*** Thanks dear friends for each & every comment, fave & view! ***

You guys are the best!

Wishing you all a wonderful new day ahead!

☺☺☺

Note: I'm not expecting that the entire film roll is still fine (surprisingly!!) because I accidentally dropped the camera and its cover opened in one of my bicycle rides.

I love to take photos of those people who work to keep this Riverwalk beautiful & Eco-friendly. Whether on the barges or along the walkways & trails. To me, they are taken for granted every day. Thank you for your hard work.

I was in Venice in 2004 and I am so glad I had saved all my photos taken during that holiday onto a disc. This was taken with my first compact camera, a Panasonic DMC-F1.

Below an excerpt from www.aviewoncities.com.

Venice's famous Bridge of Sighs was designed by Antonio Contino and was built at the beginning of the 17th century. Spanning the Rio di Palazzo (Palace River), the bridge was intended to connect the Old Prison and interrogation rooms in the Doge's Palace to the New Prison, which was situated directly across the river.

There are a few theories as to how the bridge got its name. The first one involves the prisoners that walked across the bridge on their way to the executioner. The prisoners would "sigh" as they crossed the bridge, probably catching their last glimpse of the outside world, many believed.

Even though by the time the bridge was built summary executions at the hands of the inquisitors had ceased, many prisoners probably did cross the bridge and may have not seen freedom again... at least not for many years.

Another story says that if a couple kisses under the Bridge of Sighs, Venice while drifting below on a gondola at sunset, they will enjoy eternal love. Thus, the "sighs" are said to come from lovers who are overwhelmed by the romance of the whole scene.

This romantic view was created by the Poet Lord Byron with his writings: "I stood in Venice on the Bridge of Sighs, a palace and prison on each hand".

35(s)miles to have some coffee with the sunset, or some sunset with my coffee!

Some off roading done too to get the best views..! All around my local bits of Sheffield and the Peak District..
