Workers begin installing the first rooftop solar systems for Arizona Public Service’s Community Power Project in Flagstaff. These photos follow the process from securing the first standoffs to installing the photovoltaic panels. The innovative pilot project will essentially create an interconnected renewable energy power plant in a section of Flagstaff using solar systems APS installs, owns and maintains on customer rooftops, at no upfront cost to the customer. It also allows APS to study the effects of a high concentration of distributed energy on the grid, helping to optimize the grid for a sustainable future. Find more at aps.com/communitypower.

Carrying a powerful message in Finnish — “HALLITUS ALAS, KANSA YLÖS” (“Government Down, People Rise”) — protesters with A-ryhmä and antifascist groups marched through Helsinki’s May Day demonstration in 2025. The iconic antifascist emblem and anarchist “A” symbol mark their stance against state authority and far-right power. Their collective call for dismantling government structures and empowering grassroots movements remains a central theme in the Finnish anti-authoritarian movement.
Helsingin vappumarssilla 2025 A-ryhmä ja antifasistiset aktivistit kantoivat banderollia, jossa luki “Hallitus alas, kansa ylös”. Viesti vaati vallan purkamista ja kansan voimaannuttamista. Banderollissa näkyvät tunnukset ilmentävät vastarintaa fasismia ja autoritaarista hallintoa vastaan.
