“Commando Units pave the way for the Elite Infantry by softening up strategic enemy defenses and positions and securing enemy VIPs for interrogation or public execution. They are exceptionally able to work together in small teams and think outside the box, a skill that sets them apart from the Infantry. They are extremely effective behind enemy lines and are usually sent on Special Operations, often accompanied by Snipers and Deployment Specialists. They are trained in the use of stealth and often apply Guerilla Warfare techniques in order to effectively accomplish their tasks. They are occasionally called upon to carry out Black Ops tasks, but the main body of Commandos has expressed lack of enthusiasm and general unwillingness, and as a result such tasks are kept to a bare minimum.”
