This is the books and comics shop that is in Forbes buildings in Middlesbrough, Andy, (Whos pictured) is the last shop on the floor, its apparently being made into flats when his lease runs out, I used to buy all my books and comics from here when I collected DC comics, seeing all the old comics on the shelves takes me back to my childhood.
Kiddo has taken quite a shine to Hubby's comic book collection of late. They can sit for hours and look/read/speculate. This is the offspring going through just one of about 20 of these boxes that adorn the guest bedroom.
He has started his own box, too.

These comics are part of my yet-to-be named comic series. They all pertain to bicycles and myself. I've been trying to draw one a day, but sometimes life gets in the way. Drawn with pens, tweaked ever so slightly in Photoshop.

This is a recently purchased CGC 3.5 (VG-) copy of Cap 42. Yet another great Schomburg cover. He liked to label things. Here he has "Armored Bank Service" on a shield on the van, and "Second National Bank" on the building. A few months later, he did one for another comic (USA Comics?) with robbers in a car holding bags with "Third National Bank" on them. I'm still looking for the "Fourth National Bank" cover. :)
I was too busy this week to get my usual stash of magazines and funnybooks back home, so I stopped by my usual NYC connection: Midtown Comics on 40th & 7th. It's easy to get to and they carry more or less everything.

he same seller as the Archie TMNT comics also had a big lot of art prints for sales as well. These were actually published in 2 portfolios and I already have the complete first portfolio but I bought the lot anyway even though it wasn't complete. These are the prints from the second portfolio that were included in the eBay lot that I didn't previously have any of. Think there are still 1 or 2 missing though, plus the sleeve.
