Un fugaz repaso a la andadura del Comics, soul-club de los
90 de mi city. Más que un ejercicio de nostalgia (no soy muy
dado a ella) me ha parecido interesante reseñar su existencia,
al cumplirse los 10 años de su nacimiento....ufff, como pasa
el tiempo....
I like this cover because Bucky, who spends most of his cover time over at "Captain America Comics" in bondage or being slapped around, is pictured kicking the Red Skull's ass right into Hitler's face. This was published in summer 1941, before the U.S. entered the war, but the American comics community, often a refuge of artistic jews who'd been shut out of other businesses (Check out some Will Eisner graphic novels, and Chabon's "Adventures of Cavalier and Clay"), was well aware of the Nazi pogrom, and loved to depict Hitler getting his ass kicked. Korean girl reading comics at a cosplay event, Yangjae, Korea. There were so many people dressed up as characters from movies, anime or comics I was surprised that we didn't see more people reading like this. Terrible photo but I like how happy they seem!
Just realized that the comics looks like Ancient Egypt art. (the way the space of the image was used)
This is a movie poster for Diabolik. I think this i the Japaneses version. Diabolik is a super criminal form Italian comics.
