Thought you guys might enjoy my odd sense of humor this weekend. This is a diptych when junior was about a week old.

For those following the saga, I just found out that the Princess's simple handpainting has been used by this "ColourLovers" site in addition to the one I mentioned yesterday. The sad part about the site I found today is that it says it is for creative folks (who should know better). I wonder if these brainiacs (NOT!) realize that if they ask permission and use a photo they will likely drive new hits and possibly customers? I would call their approach "stupid" but the Princess would scold me for using a bad word ;-)

Not gonna let the losers get me down though :-) So feel the love and let's have some fun this weekend! Thanks for all the comments, visits and faves!

The Kiss....

La hija de una gran amiga de mi madre llamada Rosa es mas grande que yo como por 6 años aproximadamente, recuerdo que ella era la que nos actualizaba a mi hermana y a mi a la temprana edad de 10 acerca de los amorios secundarianos y preparatorianos.

Un día regreso con una sonrisa del tamaño del mundo y nos explico el significado del beso... "Tu sabes cuanto te quiere una persona por la forma en que te besa", explicó paso a paso todo lo que sentia, desde el primer contacto con los labios hasta el último roce en la mejilla... ¿Pero cómo es que lo sientes?... -Tan solo dejate llevar por lo que sientes.... El tiempo pasó, Rosa se perdió, y uno seguia preguntandose por la maquina de medir amor.... Beso, ¿cómo beso?

Pasado el tiempo y no presioandote ocurren las cosas que mejor pasan en tu vida, y es cuando comprendes que no es el beso el que da la pauta para saberte querido o gritarlo con las lenguas entrelazadas, no, si no que el momento que dos personas se besan se vuelve uno...

Los labios transmiten infinidad de sensaciones las cuales nos llenan de ese "no se que" que te hacen corresponder y confirmar cosas que sientes, mientras los roces y los sentidos se aguidizan tienes la leve sospecha que vuelas, el piso se cae y el cielo vuela, ocurren explosiones que van creciendo y que se quedan en el pecho, las caricias con la lengua y ese lenguaje de verte inmerso en la otra persona y que esa persona se ve reflejada en ti en cada movimiento, no te deja mas calamidades que una adcicción entera al sentimiento... ¿Cuándo acaba? quizá nunca... Y mas pasadas las horas y viendo que tu cuerpo necesita de mas caricias, el post beso, las miradas, el saberte completo y ver que la luz se escapa para nunca dejarte ir.... Caricias en el rostro... sonrisas enlazadas el momento que ahora es infinito.

¿Cómo beso?, nunca lo sabremos en realidad, por que la pregunta no es el Cómo, si no el Cuanto y no simplemente cuantos Besos, sino cuanto te amo.... ¿Cuánto te quiero?

Hastily grabbing this photo before heading out to meet friends.

28 June was a lovely day, spent mostly with friends chatting, my face ached from talking so much.

This was a brief moment of calm, before I nattered all night too!

This is my first daytime 'blended' photo, I chose Carnaby Street as it was a fellow Flickr member inquired if I had one so went into town and had an attempt....... There are three or four images into one here.

Tried to show the hustle and bustle, vibrancy and colour of this popular shopping attraction, very hard on a dull January day...... It worked out well and I hope to do some more daytime 'blended' and continue with my little niche of photography.

I can identify two moments in my life when colour became intrinsic!

1) Aged about 7, Mum made me a party dress that was bright, hot pink, with white swan's down fluffy around the sleeves - so many people commented on that dress, as a little girl I felt like a million dollars.

2) Same Mum told me off for buying pink shoes, aged 19, 'Not very practical, You'll never get the wear out of them!!" I decided yes I would indeed and wore them and adjusted my (self made wardrobe) accordingly, buying pink seersucker fabric to make a skirt and jacket.

I LOVE funky and unusual necklaces, (you might have noticed LOL)

This is one of my favourites...its "ALL OUT" like me. A celebration of love and humanity, its a collaboration between one of my favourite artists Morag Myerscough and

Tatty Devine.

It's made from birch ply wood based on 'The Temple of Agape' which was a huge structure made by Morag, that formed part of a Festival of Love, in London's Southbank, which I went to years ago and adored.

So my sister Ashlee and I made this cake with cake batter and sprite. We divided the cake batter into bowls and added food coloring. And then we poured the batter on top of each other in two baking pans. And the icing was just regular store bought icing. And we baked for about 30-35 minutes at 350*F.

It was super sweet enough. I was worried that it wouldn't be, but it is absolutely AMAZING, and you guys have to try it!
