Lupine - lupin (Lupinu
Besides of its masterfully capability of catching raindrops (because of the tiny hairs that are covering all the leafs) I have a personal connection to lupins. I grew up with the most wonderful german sheeper dog named Dina. When we met first we both were still kids. I was 7 years and she was 8 weeks old. The time I spend with the dog belongs to my most wonderful childhood memories. As Dina died after 14 years, I buried her in our garden and sowed many different lupines on her grave, it was a sea of blossoms every summer. Everytime, I see one of those flowers, I have to think of it. Every time. Thank You Dina.
Jedesmal. Danke Dina.

On the seventh day of our river trip in Kamchatka we saw the sunshine in the morning. So many details and subjects appeared. I've seen a lot of spiders in Kamchatka. And a good day for catching came.

The Collector House is where tolls were paid for use of the Royal Canal's aquaduct over the Rye River back in the nineteenth century. Long since derelict it was recently painted by the Leixlip Tidy Towns committee
Alors merci !
"Just a teeny, itsy bitsy drop of blood...aaaand that's the ticket!" he exclaimed, grinning a bit as I drew my hand back where my thumb beaded blood from the knife prick. I watched as the orb in his hand flared to life, red and white and just...vibrant with what seemed to be...my soul? "You know...you never did tell me your name," I ventured, sucking my thumb. He slid his arm around the pole and glanced at me with a mischievous little smile. "Who me? Nah; my name's not important. Just consider me a collector of souls. Heh. Pleasure doing business with ya, Kid." With that same mischievous smile, he vanished into a black swirl of shadows.
I was inspired by the Deadboy.ink/Graveyard collaboration Dubi marks (face and neck markings). I have been wanting to work on something with it and FINALLY got the inspiration. So tada! ♥

For a photo story of my visit:
I originally envisioned having some of the cool angled railing in focus but it proved difficult with my still limited knowledge of tilt. The blur worked out nicely though I thought.
All comments, critiques and feedback both positive and negative welcome.
We woke up again to rain this morning so I decided to play outside to take my picture and got drenched. It was rejuvenating and refreshing, a fresh start for the week. My sweet husband brought me a bouquet of flowers yesterday so I couldn't resist using one of them. I love the shallow depth of field and experimented with more textures today.
