Recycling the Chinese way - these people do collect cartons (or styrofoam, or plastic bottles) and sell this stuff to a recycling yard.
Their vehicles are always overloaded - maximize the profit!

Alors merci !
This little room presents three of the most influential figures of the Australian art world. On the left is a portrait of the late Dr Joseph Brown (probably the most prolific collector and donor of art in the country). We’ll return to this fabulous portrait tomorrow. On the right is the portrait of Georges Mora which we saw in my first post today. But we’ll focus on the wonderfully colourful Matisse-like portrait directly ahead of the camera.
It is the work of Vicki Varvaressos and was entered in the Archibald Prize in 1980. Unfortunately this was one of only two years (1964 was the other one) where the judges withheld making an award. It is a strikingly bright and cheerful portrait of art dealer Frank Watters (1934-2020).

- Entre la bruma, sintiendo alejarse el día, somos coleccionistas, coleccionistas de atardeceres.........- - Through the mist, feeling away the day, we are collectors, collectors of sunsets .......
"Just a teeny, itsy bitsy drop of blood...aaaand that's the ticket!" he exclaimed, grinning a bit as I drew my hand back where my thumb beaded blood from the knife prick. I watched as the orb in his hand flared to life, red and white and just...vibrant with what seemed to be...my soul? "You know...you never did tell me your name," I ventured, sucking my thumb. He slid his arm around the pole and glanced at me with a mischievous little smile. "Who me? Nah; my name's not important. Just consider me a collector of souls. Heh. Pleasure doing business with ya, Kid." With that same mischievous smile, he vanished into a black swirl of shadows.
I was inspired by the Deadboy.ink/Graveyard collaboration Dubi marks (face and neck markings). I have been wanting to work on something with it and FINALLY got the inspiration. So tada! ♥
A very youthful ticket collector on the steam train from Keighley to Haworth.
For a photo story of my visit:
I like ring-billed gulls -- mainly because they're really easy to get into focus. I think it's the contrasting red eye-ring -- plus the perfect shade of gray on their backs guarantees nice white-balance.

We woke up again to rain this morning so I decided to play outside to take my picture and got drenched. It was rejuvenating and refreshing, a fresh start for the week. My sweet husband brought me a bouquet of flowers yesterday so I couldn't resist using one of them. I love the shallow depth of field and experimented with more textures today.

The Collector this stack of items is collected by an older gent who cruises the streets with a shopping cart in a nearby town, he picks up discarded items, he is always on the street. Hopefully he scratches out a few bucks by selling the scrap. Hard life. Shot in North Carolina.
