For the "Looking close... on Friday!" Group.

This is one of a number of vehicles that were awaiting some sort of restoration (I assume) that were parked outside of a private vehicle museum that was created by a Yarmouth, ME business man, Erv Bickford.

Collections 1 & 2 created with 20 Wombo renderings and blended with Pixelmator Pro. Originally planned to be one final image, I ended up cutting it in half as it was so long,

Prompts: Cute rusty metal and wood robots, dolls, books, lined up on splintered rough old dark wood shelf, dark rusty shadowed background, side lighting, ultra realistic details, 3D, 4K

Style: The City

Wombo gave me so many fun variations with which to work for these creations. It was hard to choose which ones to use, which is why the project ended up as 2 images.

Enjoy looking at the shelves of someone's past youth. Thank you for all your faves, comments and invitations!

Collection of ceramic lucky charms representing various countries. These charms/figurines (“fèves” in French) were found in king cakes, also known as three kings’ cakes (“Galettes des rois” in French).

The English double decker bus is 2.4 cm long and 2.0 cm in height.

The Tower of Pisa is 3.4 cm in height and 1.3 cm broad (in its base section).

It's much smaller now... I only have about 8 ponies left.

Magical collection with fantasy books, cauldron, potions, scrolls and cushions!

"At my age flowers scare me." - George Burns

-------

A very busy day to end my work week, but having only worked three days this week I'm not going to complain.

Had a busy evening too and didn't get a lot of photography time so I just snapped a couple photos in the garden and called it a day.

Hope everyone has had a good Thursday.

It is perhaps unsurprising that Brian would have a keen interest in shells - he has been collecting them for years from his many overseas expeditions in Malaysia, Australia and Papua New Guinea to name just a few. He loves admiring the grace and elegance in the amazing diversity of their colours and forms. This image shows him posing with four of his smallest shells - two cowries, an olive shell and a common cockle.

For Macro Mondays theme 'Collection'. Brian is a tiny juvenile snail, with a shell barely 7mm long, so the image spans about 7.2cm.

No snails were harmed in the making of this photograph.

The Avani Bureau Collection arrives quietly. It is a collection made for thought rather than display, where each piece holds its place with intention. A plank working table anchors the space, worn and steady, surrounded by upholstered armchairs that suggest time taken rather than time kept. Light is restrained and architectural. A metal tripod lamp stands with quiet confidence, softened by marble and linen at the desk’s edge.

Along the walls, open shelving reads like a personal archive. Document bins, stacked boxes, and bound volumes sit in calm succession, joined by the tools of daily correspondence. A rotary phone rests beside a leather blotter. Trays gather notebooks and small necessities. An artwork pauses on an easel, while candlelight moves gently through the room. The Bureau Collection is composed for spaces where work and reflection overlap, and where objects are chosen not to impress, but to remain.

There is more to this collection and every piece in a shade of some color but I chose to bring them in black and white

The Thursford Collection is a popular museum at Laurel Farm, Thursford, Norfolk, opened in the early 1970s by the late George Cushing, that contains a great number of restored steam engines, mechanical organs, and fairground rides. Perhaps most famously, the collection includes a Mighty Wurlitzer organ, played regularly to visitors.

Here is my latest collection of the Kathy Flowers, hope you like them. I added the triangels again and all the models changed. It is like magic, I enjoy this part of the folding proces very much ;-)

The other fun part is that the flowers appear now on the other side. I didn't change the sequence of the images. You can judge for yourself, here you can see stage 1.

So the upper row is still the frontside and the lower one the backside. But now one might think it is the other way around, but as said before, this tessellation has two beautiful sides.

I'm very pleased with the outcome of the backside of the little Kathy Flower, in the top left corner. Which one is your favorite?

I didn't push all the flowers up, because I like the closed ones too and it gives a nice symmetrical effect.

Here you can see the first Kathy Flower, with all the flowers open and folded with different paper.

Saw a few collections of Erasers in Daiso (2 dollar shop), grab it for today's theme.

I was running late so today, so I quickly tried a few settings for the shot.

I placed a pencil to give a comparison of size. I used the wood flakes from sharpening the penciln as debris for the trucks in this shot.

Have a great week ahead my MM friends.
