Projeto de criação colaborativa em rede - COLLAB, terá sexta edição caracterizada pela apropriação artística dos caracteres tipográficos.

Integrando o network do Atelier Coletivo VISIO., este projeto vem trilhando caminhos inusitados tanto no processo construitivo quanto no nível técnico/ artístico dos resultados apresentados. Sempre com propostas diferenciadas, tem reunido representantes de várias linguagens visuais em territórios e imaginários distantes que absorvem o máximo das suas diferenças culturais para produzir obras únicas e expressivas, às vezes em apenas um final de semana.

Nesta nova etapa, o tema é livre porém atrelado ao conceito da utilização da tipografia artística, o fio condutor durante 4 dias de laboratório virtual: de 28 a 31 de maio.

Ao término, as artes finais serão disponibilizadas online e também em formato físico na mostra presencial do VISIO. 2012 no próximo dia 09 de junho no espaço da Saladearte Cinema da Ufba/ PAC em Salvador.

In honor of the Biotube Cataclysm Collab being released at long last, here are the main cast members for my entry! Tobduk and Zerec, Botar and Drazen, Armon and Zaries. Zerec, Drazen, and Zaries are all ManiaMac’s characters, many thanks to him for collabing with me and allowing me to use his characters! The Collector Lords (from left to right) Phage, Ouroboros, and Ursa will contend with our mighty heroes for the fate of the universe.

Active collaborative learning on the redesigned second floor of the library - former home of the map cases associated with the Ansari Map Library.

For our collaboration group we decided to go along with the idea and theme of found objects . For our work we all came up with responses towards eachothers objects that we’d found when exploring outside .

For my first response to everyone’s objects I went along with a simple traditional pencil sketch . I chose to respond to everyone’s objects in the same way and all on the same page so that there is a link created between all of them . I think doing the objects in a simple and traditional way was successful as it creates a rough and more realistic look of each object , however I think adapting my style onto each one would be more effective .
