Viking Village! 🌲🌲🌲

Finally, I'd like to show you my section of Viking Village collab which I prepared with my friends from LUG - ZbudujmyTo.

I decided to prepare a rocky beach to fill the gap and now the entire diorama can be consider as a stand alone MOC. My part consist of two houses, thatch, well and watchtower on the rocks.

Additionally, I wanted to push a life into a village so I captured Viking warriors wandering across the settlement, prepare little scene with bear hunting or a villager who brought the supplies.

I'm really happy that we decided to divide the view into two layers. The upper one include main path which is going through the all participants fragments. On the bottom you can distinguish a huge beach and coast. To obtain the level differences at sea, we used several shades of blue plates

"I spy, something... white."

I've always thought that this ship was really neat, even though it only appeared in for about one minute in the Ninjago series pilot, and it definitely was a lot of fun working on replicating it in the brick! The only purposeful deviation I've made from the original ship itself (found at the very beginning of Pilot Episode 3, King of Shadows, by the bye) is that the bottom is reddish brown here instead of dark brown, since that was, well, essentially impossible given my bricks! This is also a warm-up to the theme for the Ninjago collab Kai and I plan to do shortly.

Port Rogue - a collab of 18 members of the German LUG www.RogueBricks.de displayed on the Bricking Bavaria convention back a few weeks ago.

Was a blast to be part of this amazing collaboration.

What do we have here. Oh, it's the full picture of the collaboration between me & @missyjena ! Woo! I'm only posting it here- maybe my blog, because you guys are da best! :-)

Not much room here but a fun collab nonetheless...

And the overviews of the whole thing, finally! Over 145×95 studs long and made up of more than 11 separate sections and locations, this remains our largest collab to date! Plus, it took us about six months to complete, which sets another record... (we were building a number of other things on the side, especially for the first few months, though!) And, I've taken my own sweet time in getting around to posting these overviews (though you may likely have already seen them on my sister's photostream (Kai's).
