I really like this cat's characters...got another collab they sent me to work on.

Hope to get a lot of these up tomorrow for 1st Friday

i recently lost my files. yup. pretty much everything from may 09 til about 2 weeks ago. toast.

after "getting over it", i decided to start up something new for motivation. a few of my incredibly talented contacts have agreed to collaborate on some projects.

here's the first one. detroit derek agreed and sent me this sweet pic (large one on the bottom.) i love the action and everyday life happening. he shoots all over our city, and manages to capture life here in a different way. this shot inspired me to dig out some old pics (259 to be exact) from septmeber 07 that i had shot there. if i hadn't gotten this shot for the project, i probably wouldn't have ever revisited these long lost shots. so--this just may be a good thing.

thanks for collaborating derek! :) hope i didn't ruin your pic too much. :)

now go check out his stream! www.flickr.com/photos/detroitderek/

This is part of the Across The Ocean collab project Janey and I are doing, this time we decided to work together to form a piece of writing that combines parts and layers of each other. We sent lines back and forth until we were happy with how it flowed and then Janey kindly typed it out on her beautiful typewriter and took a photo of it, which we then each edited seperately. I am really happy with the way it turned out and I hope that we can do more of these very soon.

Check out Janey's edit.

The distance from here to there. From there to here.

What is is made of? The substances and traces of other humans?

The empty places and too full faces?

Sometimes it feels too far to where you are.

And sometimes I feel you are too close.

I trace the lines on a map, fingerlengths that keep us apart.

Heartbeats that keep us together. This distance I feel is palpable.

Through the darkness I can still see your face. Your silhouette.

And when I wake I reach for you, I beg for you.

But in my reach, my extended arm, my eager fingertips, the smoke subsides and there is nothing there.

We learn to live with longing. It etches rivers deep within us that bring us no comfort.

It is the emptiness within our hearts.

Sometimes I think it'd be better to not know how it feels to be together because then it wouldnt ache so much when we are apart.

But I know that this distance is only fleeting, time is fleeting.

And time is unkind but it is a constant and I am constantly aware that you are there and I am here. And time does not take that away, it grants me the moments to recall, the memory to react and feel.

Life and time and miles are between us, but had we been without we never would have known what it meant to feel.

To feel through distance, time, and even in the darkest of moments we feel through life.

So I know that every experience is stretching me deep inside, I am growing. I am starting to let go of the pain that has held me back.

I am starting to realise that I have control over the way I see things. I have control over the way I feel things.

I have control, not only control in these fragile hands but control with my soul, my life, my pain, and my joy.

My heart is beating and it is keeping me accountable, reminding me that I am but flesh and bones but these bones are only the cage around my longing soul.

And distance is nothing if I am free.

OPHER & holy collabs

Haven't drawn in a while, finished these two at last. I'd like to apologize to everyone to whom I owe something, because I've been really busy last couple of months, but I hope that I'll soon have some free time to draw and finish packs I've started making.

Would love to set up some collabs sometime. Male or female doesn't matter, shemale or not doesn't matter. PG or X rated doesn't matter. Please either comment, message me on here, or message me inworld @urgummiangel. If messaging inworld, please let me know what about. I would love to collab with any and everyone!!! Thankies!!!

COLLAB.............

Dude sent me a hell of a pack... :) Cool guy he is...

...Once, a cook named Alfred heard a noise near the entrance of his cave. When he walked out, he was frightened, as a knight with a big sword was looking at him with anger. However, after a few seconds the cook came up with an idea: he decided to treat the knight, so they went far into the cave where the feast was always waiting for visitors who came by.

...When the knight saw the table, he immediately forgot that he wanted to kill the cook. He realized that he was starving after a long journey. Alfred also offered the knight some wine to accompany the meal. The knight became even happier. He started telling the cook about his adventures. The cook was surprised that the knight hadn't eaten a morsel for a week. Probably, that's why he wanted to kill the cook! The knight was full at last. The broad smile brightened his face.

...At the end, Alfred led the knight, to the exit of the cave, gave him a turkey leg and shook hands with him. "If you ever feel hungry, you can come to my cave and we'll have a good meal and talk, my friend" - said the cook. "I definitely will, thank you" - said the knight, sir Hamilton. They were now friends forever.
