This evenings full moon rising above Wasilla Lake. On my way through town decided to grab a shot on the lake. Darn cold one as near zero, so didn’t take many shots. This one isn’t the best but hope you like. Been busy with projects so may be a bit to get around to your streams. A thank you for your visits and have a fine day.

And finally we got the cold weather. Snow and frost during the night, with light mist in the morning.
Texture my own.
Icicles hang over The Burn - stream - that runs down the hill, next to my house.
Here, at The Pixies, the temperature was -9°C and some parts of the burn had frozen over.
Moss-covered granite boulders, had icy snow on top and my track was a snow-covered luge! Quad bike time, again.
Today, it has been raining, either temperature is 5°C, and the snow and ice have disappeared...for now.

I was off work relatively early today, so decided to stop at Leslie Spit for a few photos.
The colours in the sky, and reflections in the ice were incredible, I only wish this photo could do the scene justice.
By the end of my 2 hour walk, my fingers were numb with cold. I did however have a great time, I haven't had many opportunities to get out with my camera this winter.
Cold Spring Creek flows at the base of the majestic Mt Hood in northern Oregon. Following this magical flow upstream leads to Tamanawas Falls and many a fallen rock. I recommend the hike.

And I know
In my heart, in this cold heart
I can live or I can die
I believe if I just try
You believe in you and I

Maybe this time I can be strong
But since I know who I am
I'm probably wrong
Maybe this time I can go far
But thinking about where I've been
Ain't helping me start

Tune Annie Lennox - Cold
Location YUKINA, Cosa Nostra
Come to me
Run to me
Do and be done with me
(Cold cold cold)
Don't I exist for you
Don't I still live for you
(Cold cold cold)
Everything I possess
Given with tenderness
Wrapped in a ribbon of glass
Time it may take us but God only knows
How I've paid for those things in the past
Dying is easy it's living that scares me to death
I could be so content hearing the sound of your breath
Cold is the color of crystal the snow light
That falls from the heavenly skies
Catch me and let me dive under
For I want to swim in the pools of your eyes
I want to be with you baby
Slip me inside of your heart
Don't I belong to you baby
Don't you know that nothing can tear us apart
Come on now come on now come on now
Telling you that
I loved you right from the start...
But the more I want you the less I get
Ain't that just the way things are...
Winter has frozen us
Let love take hold of us
(Cold cold cold)
Now we are shivering
Blue ice is glittering
(Cold cold cold)
Cold is the color of crystal the snow light
That falls from the heavenly skies
Catch me and let me dive under
For I want to swim in the pools of your eyes
It always amazes me how birds have there way of telling you that they are hungry and how you have forgotten to fill the birdfeeder
Traveling through some backroads on business, i was looking for images of interest and saw this hard working gentlleman coming up the road. The snow was falling and I thought how cold he must have felt. I chatted with him a bit as he slowly passed by.
