Medium: Molded lead and tin coins
Yes you guess it, I have done experiments through the ages in making coins, or what ever you will call this exonumia...
I am not certain of any of the years of issues but the Homelandic one is the youngest ...ok so I will make a short list of facts of all the "coins"or tokens if you so will
1. the homeland Crown (1kr) (on the upper left)
this was a micronational state I started and run for a while before abdicating the crown to our Vice-president , most of our currency was issued in first 1 bit notes and later 10 bit notes I made a few of these very rare crowns and snail-mailed them to prominent members of our government I have only this one singe coin left... the issue wasn´t very big because the mold would be destroyed in the process of molding, I only had what means was available at home, since all money was going to party, coffee houses and pubs, but I most have molten a few very valuable warhammer 40k figures from the 90´s I had lying around in drawers of my home, just to get enough tin to make these coins...
the year of issue would be around 2000 probably before the turn of the century....
2, 1 Öl (one beer in Swedish) Pruebas (test coin specimen)
this one from a small cottage village I used to dwell in in the 90´s actually more specifically one "the trolls path" a small line of cottages in the Brøndby cottage-village in Denmark, I was asked to make gambling coins that was durable for different beer-drinking competitions and local gambling...
Again some of my roleplaying miniatures had to suffer when I made these test-coins, I think the Swedish spelling ÖL instead of Danish ØL since I wanted to annoy people who where almost entirely Danish speakers and Danes, a sort of friendly teasing that often takes place between the Scandinavian countries...
the mold to one was more advanced since I used some kind of rubbery-clay... for some reason I never got around to issue them, only a few probe issues where made...
I think the intent for the finished product was to have a legend (numismatic term for the text that is close to the edge of a coin)
That stated that they came from the Troldstien area... still that was never done...
3.-4. Sanna (Empress) of Holma series
when I spent my time in Sweden I lived at times of the "ghetto" (as we called it at the time) of Holma, an area who by many other people of the city of Malmö was thought of as a problematic area...
...even though this, there was often some pride among the locals of being from Holma, for example when you would leave the area by foot, your would often pass imaginary borderlines in spray paint where it would say Holma on ones side and Sweden on the other

So who was the Empress Sanna then?
it was our family dog a spotted mixed race (Dalmatian, retriever and something more (unknown))
we usually called Her the Empress of Holma, so this was a coin just made for the fun of it...
as you see I have two specimen of this one, of cause in very different weights so the value wasn´t the based on the metal, but a tin-foot monetary system would be interesting (the Thais had loads of tin coins in the past)

Well, I don´t know how many rare rpg figures I have used by "minting" these pseudo-coins or tokens...
...Since money was always and issue for me, I couldn´t afford to make money in large amounts :)
The Holma And Troldstien coins was made in the 90´s (guess between 92-95?) the Homeland coin around the millennium (guess 96-98?)

Here's Willow again, taken about 20 minutes after my previous photo. I had my metal detector discriminator circuit set to ignore all but the largest pieces of ferrous metal, allowing any coins to be more easily picked out of the area close to my house... which is loaded with old nails, bits of rusty metal and other material. About a dozen shallow holes produced several pennies, not old, and all seriously dinged by the blade of a power mower. This particular hole seemed promising... a target having been located that produced a distinct "boink" sound when sweeping the disc across the spot, usually a very good sign. I had already gently pushed Willow away from a half dozen holes while working to unearth what the machine detected. Here she's hovering over yet another hole, her head in an inconvenient position, probably waiting for me to continue digging. This was a "dry hole", yielding only a small balled up aluminum foil gum wrapper. About fifteen feet to my left a small fallow spike buck was investigating a small hole (unproductive) I had dug and filled in.

Here's Willow being a pest while I was using my old metal detector in front of my house in Newcastle. A few years back I brought the detector to Texas to do a bit of coin hunting around the house. Due to a drought the dirt was hard packed and impossible to dig through... almost like granite. On this trip down, in mid-April, rainy weather had softened the ground so digging was VERY easy. The detector is around 35 years old but still works perfectly. Here I got a good signal... something fairly deep, and had put the unit down to get something better than a screwdriver to dig with. What I found was an old water pipe, no longer in use. On other occasions I found a brass "Bull Durham" tobacco pouch fob, several bronze Chinese coins with a square hole in the center, a copper token about the size of a quarter ("State Bar-Good for 5 cents in Trade"), and a silver colored token about the size of a nickel ("Shades Saloon-Good for 5 cents in trade"). The Chinese coins could have come from Chinese workers building the Wichita Falls & Southern Railway, the old road bed running behind my property. Before beginning my coin hunting I checked and found that the deer appeared to be off somewhere dozing or grazing. Nobody was around to bother me. When I tune the detector I set it to emit a faint, barely audible "threshold" whine... very faint. Headphones aren't used because they quickly become uncomfortable and the dangling cord is a pain to deal with. I had been working about ten minutes, with bits of metal junk causing the detector to beep or make louder hooting sounds. This caught Willow's attention. She must have been resting in the shade around the back side of the house. Something about the low whine of the machine really intrigued her. As I moved around, periodically stooping to dig shallow holes and scatter the dirt to pull out bits of metal, she'd get her nose in the hole and start acting really goofy, prancing and dancing around like a horse sometimes will in a pasture. A small spike fallow buck came over, sniffed a few places where I had been digging and began the same sort of behavior. Eventually this activity caught the attention of other deer that had been napping in the bushes over by the fish pond. A few minutes later I had to suspend my digging activity, it being nearly impossible to work a hole without being crowded by a deer, that after taking a few sniffs would start hopping and prancing around. The fresh dirt I was pulling out of a hole worked on the deer almost like catnip does with a cat. Weird... I have no explanation for this behavior.

'"Alte Münze", ältestes Steinhaus in Westfalen, im Kern romanisch, gotische Masswerkfenster (Ende 13. Jhdt.) erst 1928 freigelegt, Auslicht und Portal der Spätrenaissance, im 14.-16.Jh Wohnung der Mindener Münzmeister.'
"Um 1260 wurde der dreigeschossige Sandsteinquaderbau errichtet, der weit über Minden hinaus bedeutend ist. Die ursprüngliche Nutzung des Gebäudes, das wohl das Haupthaus eines größeren, herrschaftlichen Anwesens war, ist bislang nicht bekannt. Die beiden Schaufronten zur Brüder- und Kampstraße sind mit Maßwerkfenstern aus der Erbauungszeit versehen. Sie wurden 1926/28 freigelegt und teilweise rekonstruiert. Erst Quellen des 16.Jahrhunderts sprechen vom Haus des Münzmeisters. Bei grundlegenden Umbauten zu Beginn des 17. Jahrhunderts erhielt das Haus einen Standerker mit dahinterliegender Stube und einen Torbogen mit Weserrenaissanceformen."

Lange wurde angenommen, dass dieses Gebäude früher die Münze in Minden war, da man dort viele Münzen fand. Das gilt jedoch heute als unwahrscheinlich, da man zur Münzherstellung fließendes Gewässer benötigte.
Heute befindet sich ein Restaurant in dem Gebäude, welches ebenfalls "Alte Münze" heißt.
Es gibt viele Geschichten, warum das Gebäude oben dunkel ist.
