Carnaval de Québec Canada
The Quebec Winter Carnival or the Carnaval de Québec is a festival held in Quebec City.
After being held on and off since 1894, the Carnaval de Québec has been held uninterruptedly since 1955. That year Bonhomme, the mascot of the festival, made his first appearance. Bonhomme – short for bonhomme de neige ("snowman") is the official ambassador of the festivities, the castle lord of the Ice Palace. Bonhomme is a large snowman sporting a red cap, black buttons and a ceinture fléchée (colorful sash).
Up to one million people attended the Carnaval de Québec in 2006 making it one of the largest winter festivals in the world.

About the trip:
Montreal - Quebec
In the morning the bus tour will journey to Quebec City for the Quebec Winter Carnival. Enjoy ice sculpturing exhibitions from different countries and you will experience a distinctive beauty of winter. We will then visit Hotel de Glace to explore the world of Eskimos.
Quebec Winter Carnival Each year at the end of January, this festival celebrates French Canadian culture. There are a wealth of fun activities to enjoy, like parades, sleigh and canoe races, a snow sculpture contest, and a masquerade ball.
Ice Hotel The Hotel de Glace just outside Quebec City is the only Ice Hotel in North America. This amazing architectural achievement is reconstructed every winter entirely out snow and ice. There is even an ice chapel in which weddings are hosted.

The North American OV-10 Bronco was developed in the 1960s for COIN (Counter-insurgency) warfare. The first prototype, designated YOV-10A first flew on the 16th July 1965, with the first production aircraft flying in August 1967. The OV-10A Bronco first entered service with the USAF, followed by the USMC (United States Marine Corps). The aircraft were used principally in the Vietnam War, when they were tasked in the forward controller, helicopter escort, armed reconnaissance, ground attack and CASEVAC (casualty evacuation) roles.
The USAF retired the last of its OV-10 Broncos in September 1991, followed by the USMC on 1994.
