Just some further design work, I'm currently in the process of doing a living room and will share soon.

Well almost!

I like wood!!!

This is just a rushed post with this description having nothing to do with the photo =P

ClutterFree

If you don’t need it, you shouldn’t be sad to see it go.

I love my spacious workspace with Ikea Galant desks and Ikea Jules chairs.

Baba's room now ready for painting the skirting before we build furniture and add stickers to the wall.

It doesn't happen very often, but I was finally able to clear through my email inbox after the trip and get it down to zero messages. That's right, it's clear.

my bathroom is definitely my go to spot when i need some rest and nourishment. it's incredibly peaceful and has everything i need to bring me back to my center. bathtub, steam shower, a place to meditate and heated floors.

incense makes me feel closer to the earth and more grounded.

brown, black and pink bra (some in wash), yoga top, 2 pairs of underwear (gasp) and a yoga band for my hair. owning only 2 pairs of underwear definitely gives me added incentive to get the laundry done each day. :) i do, however, have credit at victoria secret and will splurge on one more pair soon. it's just that i have to go to "the mall" to do it. double ick.

becoming a minimalist has creeped into all areas of my life. i find the smart phone to be truly beneficial for this busy mom with lots of schedules, lessons and appointments to remember. i use ical for all that and set up alerts to keep me stress free. i keep my phone in my back pocket throughout the day. when i think of something that needs attention or a grocery item to remember, i jot it down in "notes". i keep up with emails when i have extra moments throughout the day...during the carwash, filling up with gas, waiting for a soccer practice to end, etc.. life changing, that little phone is.

i convinced jason his dop kit from oly's wedding 15 years ago was past its prime. i gave him my old leather one. egg cartons again. this time they hold cough drops and alpine slide tokens.

A young woman enjoys reading a book in her stylish workspace. She sits comfortably in a chair, with a laptop and a refreshing breakfast on the table, creating a relaxed atmosphere.

i have two pairs of jeans. they live in this drawer...along with my "elf" pajamas from hannah andersson.

we remodeled our bathroom last year and since then it seems it's become the family bathroom. we have 1 boy and 3 girls. the girls like to primp and get ready in here with us. this is tenley's toothbrush, my floss and my most favorite thing... my tongue scraper.

rags for cleaning, liquid plumr and a nice trash can from sundance.

i like a simple orchid in the bathroom. low maintenance and beautiful. it only needs water every 2 weeks. i keep that chore in my ical.

confession: i have saved every piece of artwork the kids have done through the years. this summer i started taking photos of each piece and tossing the hard copies. so great. i've found new purposes for their sweet little clay pieces. some hold tooth brushes, others hold bandaids, still others we use for sipping water with medicine.

i'm loyal to a couple brands in the bathroom. everything looks nicer that way.

odds and ends...i slough off dead skin whenever i have time. we have a need for lots of nail trimmers. for some reason, the girls wander off with them. i keep eye and lip cream in here. i fill up my pill box each week with a fresh supply of vitamins. i use the turquoise cup for drinking water.

we use tenley's old bath towels for sitting on when we steam. they are the perfect size. a wash cloth for tenley's eyes and a hair towel that i just bought for $20 at sophora. so happy i didn't buy 2. one is just right. when in doubt, just by 1 and see if you need a second.

Not as zen as I would like, but better then it was. Now to keep it all clutterfree!!

i've been using these egg cartons to hold jewelry. they're perfect for buttons, safety pins and hair clips, too. i have a little stash of jewelry awaiting a trip to the pawn shop. no fancy jewelry for me.

i make my own cleaner using a dash of soap and 5 drops each of my favorite essential oils. i have lots to choose from depending on what i'm needing.

floss, hairdryer and a crimping iron that we use for halloween and crazy hair days at school.

towels and just enough cleaning products

i keep the rocks we collected in italy in this drawer. love them. a brush, basket of hairbands and a torch for candles and incense.

buying Bb shampoo and conditioner in bulk saves money and trips to the store for more.

makeup drawer...concealer, eye shadows, bronzer, lip gloss, powder, little travel powder

here lives my painting clothes and my favorite pjs in need of mending.

i'm a "burner". i can only burn incense when the kids and jason aren't home. they think it's so strange. i, however, adore it. makes me feel grounded and makes any project, like decluttering, a lot more fun.

burning man, anyone?

my rule: i have to use something up before buying a replacement. i'll be so happy when i can buy some fresh blush. this bronzer has got to be 10 years old. ick.

a peak into our master closet. this is THE BEST feature. it was originally meant to hold belts and ties for jason, but turned out to be the perfect medicine cabinet. everything is easy to see and reach.

i was an esthetician once. my love for dermalogica runs deep.

traveling companions. the black bobbie brown bag has become so huge. i now travel using zip lock baggies. it takes up WAY less space. not sure yet what i'll do with this now that is serves no purpose.

all-purpose cleaner, windex, toilet bowl cleaner and shower cleaner

anna-kathryn's pottery has had many uses. today, i stored my phone in it.
