A close up of a disc-winged bat near the Golfo Dulce in Costa Rica. There is a wider shot too further back in my stream that shows more than one. According the people who know neotropical bats this is most likely Thyroptera tricolor.
Closeup of my cat eyes. Right eye is lit by the sun, while the other one is in the shadow which gives a really nice effect imo.
There is lots of really good surfers on the outer banks, here is one from last weekends ESA Outer Banks District contest#2. Kitty Hawk,NC
Shot for the "Macro Madness" event on Facebook. Basically someone created an event where the focus for the week is macro type shots.
I haven't said the rosary in many years. Does that make me a bad person? Laura thinks I'm not religious, but I rather like to think I'm not "churchy". I think I'm very religious deep down, but I don't adhere to certain "rules". I believe in right and wrong. I believe in tolerance of everyone's beliefs. I believe in taking care of one another. I believe in hope. I believe in the human spirit. And I believe in love.
I think that sometimes formal "religions" obsure these simple truths behind rules and tradition. I don't think religion is bad, just that you need to look for the underlying truth in things.
Closeup of the background quilting I did. Some of the applique is stitched but the goal was to have it pop!
Mirodoll MSD bodies with the Fairyland LTF Breakaway and Ruru heads. Some modding is in order as her bewbs defy gravity and the hands need to be boiled and posed better.
Some more tests in particular light conditions, studying the effects of tilting the lens, and learning how to expose (if you want to change aperture, you need to open the lens and manually change the aperture ring...)
I know this sounds complicated, but it's magical how much you can play with your creativity.
Maybe you'd have preferred a model, but I was alone today and I already took pictures of my dogs, of my breakfast, of my wake-up red glassed face... now I'm here with some more colors :-)
