The Cleveland Clinic Las Vegas. A great example of modern architecture. I’ve taken shots here before, but this is the first time I’ve seen it at night. Petty about that street lamp right in the middle.

After many attempts, I was finally able to upload a photo. What's going on with flickr these days?

A bit of a challenge, and a departure for me. A combination of mixed lighting, incandescents, skylights, and some bounced flash off of gray walls made for some "interesting" white balance fun, I had to crank the ISO up to 2500 and pictures shot that high on this old 2004 designed Canon body tend to fall apart. I used the new de-noise feature in ACR, it did a commendable job, but it took around 35 minutes per picture to accomplish. Then there was the issue with moving subjects, definitely not my forte!

These three buildings make up part of the Mayo Clinic's downtown campus in Rochester, MN. The buildings left to right are Siebens building, Plummer building, and The Mayo building.

(Sorry, not a good picture. But I just have to upload it!)

A couple of months ago this still said:"Dental clinic". The doctor must have changed his specialization, because it now says "Mental clinic". (No, I haven't photoshopped this!)

Hopefully not a false impression - but that could be Mr Jamil Hussain (rt) working on a set of gnashers to give you that perfect smile - just as displayed in the window.

This abandoned place was built at the end of World War II by a religious order and used to house hundreds of children to enjoy their summertime and enjoy the activities and healthy, mountainous environment. This was closed down in the 1970s.

This wonderful old mansion in Battery Point, Tasmania, is now another increasingly ubiquitous Medical Clinic. But it is kept in superb condition and the garden is authentic to the period.
