We custom tailor a litigation strategy to achieve your desired results. At our law firm we measure success not by the number of motions and trials that we win, but by the time and the cost that it takes to achieve our client’s objectives.
Sandra is a participant in the 2014 EPP cohort. She began the program in early January. Sandra Goldmark and her husband both have careers in theater: she as a theatrical set designer, and her husband as a production manager. Together, they founded Pop Up Repair in the spring of 2012. Operating out of a pharmacy’s storefront near their home in Inwood, they hired technicians and other handy people to fix household items brought in by members of the community, who were incentivized to bring their items because Sandra’s Pop Up Repair shops operate for a limited time only (hence, the “Pop Up”). The shop was intended to promote a culture of preservation and discourage waste (to “break the cycle of use and discard”). It was a great success—in four short weeks during June 2013, the shop fixed over a ton of broken stuff. To make the first Pop Up Repair shop possible, Sandra had launched an Indiegogo campaign and raised $10,000, more than enough to staff the repair shop and rent a storefront for one month. The shop did charge customers, but not very much. Sandra has received a great amount of media attention and positive responses from all over the country, and is considering franchising the idea so that others can run pop-up repair shops in their own cities, which would provide Sandra a means of generating new revenue streams.

A set of photos documenting a workshop from 2004. I'd kept the workshop artefacts since then, before recycling them I decided to take some photos and explain what we were doing.
