Latimer Hinks’ private client team has been named the best in the North at the prestigious Northern Law Awards 2016.
The County Durham-based firm beat off stiff competition to take home the Private Client Team of the Year trophy which was a new category for 2016.
Now in its second year, the Northern Law Awards celebrates the success and achievements of the Northern legal community.
Latimer Hinks CEO Anne Elliott said: "We’re absolutely thrilled to have been named the best Private Client Team in the north. It is testament to the decades spent building the team here and it is recognition of our private client work ethos.
"Many of our clients have been with us for generations. We know them and their families well, and our culture here has always been to build close and lasting relationships with our clients so we can help them through life’s milestones.”
With more than 90 nominations received from firms and organisations across the North, award judges said they faced an extremely difficult task to narrow down the field during a full day of judging.
Finalists were judged before the awards ceremony with the winners being announced during a special event at the Crowne Plaza Newcastle.
Geoff Harrison, chair of judges, said: "Judging is very demanding but the whole experience is a joy. We should all be very proud to be part of a regional legal community which produces such a depth and range of excellence.”

活動背景說明(About Project)：
「桃園故事燈區」以桃園在地特色與歷史文化，由桃園市13區規劃設計、製作屬於在地的人文、風俗或觀光特色之花燈意象，希冀結合各區不同創意與理念，透過傳統燈藝或結合燈具設計、光環境佈置，創造專屬獨特的燈區。
一、角色命名
「龍潭」地名由來，相傳與龍潭大池有關。據說某日風雨交加夜晚， 波濤大起，滾滾黃水於源頭直瀉而下。有人看見黃龍出沒於池中，翻滾後隨之乘水騰空而去 ，因此改名「龍潭陂」，又稱「龍潭庄」，龍潭的地名從那時開始沿用至今。
取名「龍寶」，有象徵龍潭因黃龍而誕生之意。名字不僅有趣、好記，能直接聯想到桃園龍潭的吉祥代表。
二、場景概念
「龍寶」如同在地小導遊，引領我們的視野進入美麗的龍潭。一邊品味著有名的龍泉椪風茶，一邊觀賞每年端午節才有舉辦的龍舟賽，周邊還有我們的景觀名勝可以遊歷。
