Another beautiful ice creation that was made by our ice sculpture machine. It was made for our client's special event: www.icegallery.biz/ice-sculpture-machine/

A bouquet of day lilies were sitting on a client's living room table. So I just moved them towards the window light and shot away... this one was my fave.

This was the last rose I photographed while I walked around my client's property in Tanglewood and I almost missed this one as it was very near the ground and turned upside down.

Per my CLIENT'S :) request.. i've enlarged the map to hide Modor.

DJ is being fostered at one of my client's homes. They so wanted to adopt him, but their other dog Emma, was having no part of it. She wanted him out! They are devastated, but have to do the right thing for Emma and their household.

I called another client whose dog died in august. I know they wanted to get another dog around the holidays. I thought DJ was a perfect match for this family, so I brought him over to their house for a few hours today. They fell in love with him immediately. So they are adopting him tomorrow. DJ is a lucky dog. Another happy rescue. And the best news is.... I get to see him M-F every week. :)) I'm crazy about this dog. I would have adopted him myself, if I didn't already have three dogs..

This was taken this past weekend from a client's balcony. We were shooting their engagement photographs and I took a couple shots of the view. I took some to make a pano but have not really worked on it yet since it might take some manual stitching since I took it by hand.

For my client's son Jack for Christmas. He is 10, maybe i have started off his own style..

This little dragonfly flew up near my face to either ward off or catch mosquitos swarming around me as I was trying to photograph it! Twice, it flew close enough for me to feel the wind it's wings disturbed as it flew. Pretty neat sensation!

I had grand plans for sunset. But yesterday the weather is perfect, I was sitting at the client's boardroom watching the clock tick over, the sun setting, then the blue hour passing, then it was pitch black by the time I could get out of there.

Today I finished early and it was no where near sunset. And I wasn't about to hang around until the traffic get really insane so I burned it out of there.

So this is Plan A, which went to Plan B, and back to Plan A.

Handheld slow shutter speed with CPL on. Just to up the level of difficulty.

Gorgeous! This cake was made for a client's birthday. She loved lace and loved roses, so this was our creation.

Made this as a gift for another client today, together with a blueberry cheesecake (not photographed this time). I created this recipe based on a basic baked cheesecake recipe, and sampled a piece at my client's...really yummy!

This is one of approx 260 photos that I decided were not so bad that I had to delete them and recover every wasted binary bit of storage on my computer disk ... but also not good enough to warrant uploading to Flickr as a "public" photo.

Since Flickr now provides so much storage to us picture-crazed photographers, I've decided to upload all of these "random pix" as restricted "friends and family" photos so that most of the world doesn't have to suffer through them ...

I've cropped and edited these photos, but have not gone to the additional trouble of geo-tagging them ... sorry about that.

In the spring of 2014, we came to Paris for a week of relaxed vacationing, mostly to wander around and see some old familiar places. It was a “return” trip for both of us, though in my case I think it’s probably been more than 15 years since I was even here on a business trip.

Business trips to any city don’t really count as a “visit” -- since they basically involve flying into a busy airport at night, taking a taxi to a generic business-traveler’s hotel (a Hilton in Paris looks just like a Hilton in Cairo), and then spending several days working in the hotel (if the purpose of the trip was a seminar or computer conference), or at a client’s office (also “generic” in most cases — you can’t even tell what floor you’re on when you get off the elevator, because every floor of “open office” layouts is the same). The trip usually ends in the late afternoon or evening of the final day, with a mad dash back to the airport to catch the last plane home to NYC. Thus, a business trip to Paris is almost indistinguishable from a business trip to Omaha. Or Albany. Or Tokyo.

But I did make a few “personal” visits to Paris in the 1970s and 1980s, so I looked forward to having the chance to walk through some familiar places along the Left Bank. I’m not so interested in museums, monuments, cathedrals, or other “official” tourist spots (but yes, I have been to the Eiffel Tower, just as I’ve been to the Empire State Building in NYC), so you won’t see any photos of those places in this Flickr set.

As a photographer, I now concentrate mostly on people and street scenes. The details of the location don’t matter much to me, though I do try to geotag my photos whenever I can. But for the most part, what you’ll see here are scenes of people and local things in Paris that made me smile as I walked around …

Mando entering the Client's base on Navarro. The Mandalorian Season 2 project was released first, but we definitely made this one first.

Sun room of client's cozy beach house. Bit of a ratty couch on the left. Cleaned it up a bit, but it's definitely "lived in". A couple ambient frames blended with a flash frame. Flash bounced off cream/white wall behind me from opposite corners. There was a third chair at the table, but it blocked that really awesome umbrella holder, so we removed it. Had to clone out a big white vent from that gorgeous ceiling. Could have been a cleaner PS job. Feedback and c.c. always appreciated.

One of my favorite client's Stacie, who owns Polished Hair Salon and Spa in Lemoyne, hosted a spa party for her niece and her friends this past Saturday. She requested a girly pink cake for the birthday girl whose middle name is Rose. The cake included cute ribbon roses in pink. The cake flavors were vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filling and chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream fillings.

Here's an image in my Still Life series, a project I did for a client's website. Now you'll understand why I have been away. I have been working! I hope you enjoy this set, that I'll be uploading over the weekend and on Valentine's Day....certainly a departure from my usual landscapes and Old World scenes, but I thought I'd share them with you anyway.

This set of Still Lifes with flowers was a collaborative effort. The owner of the business and I worked together to create these little scenes that will appear as a slide show on the home page of her website when it is completed.

Officine Meccaniche Reggiane

The Officine Reggiane industrial ground was erected in 1901 near the train station and old town. At first, airplanes were manufactured here. Later, locomotives were assembled until the late 1990s. In the 1970s, the factory employed 11,000 workers. Since 2010, the grounds have been revitalized bit by bit. This respectful transformation of the historical building corresponds to the client’s wishes.

4" birthday cake for a client's sister. Was supposed to cover it with hot pink sugarpaste but the weather in Brisbane is so dry the paste kept cracking on me. Finally decided to just use buttercream.
