When a leaf landed in this orbweaver's beautiful, freshly woven evening web, she dashed over and set about systematically excising it. Took her under 4 minutes. Web wasn't nearly so beautiful thereafter, but at least the leaf was gone. Spider body 11 mm long; web was a good half meter across.
The first post-tornado volunteer cleanup was held along the Kentucky Lake shoreline near Twin Lakes Camping Area and Boat Ramp on 1/22/22.
