A huge thank you to everyone who came out today and joined us for our beach cleanup with Canary Green. It always feels amazing to see our local community come together for such a great cause — and together we collected an incredible 135 kilograms of rubbish from the beach! 💪♻️

We had 45 people out on the sand today, and next year we’re aiming even higher — 100 people making Callao Salvaje shine even brighter. Let’s make this an annual tradition and keep our beaches beautiful for everyone to enjoy.

It was a beautiful day on the river for our cleanup in Sugar Creek! 198 volunteers joined us at LaBenite Park on Saturday, April 13 to aid in our efforts to remove tons of trash from the banks of the Missouri River. We also hosted our title sponsors, Evergy, for a day of stewardship out of Cooley Lake Conservation Area on Thursday, April 11. In all, we managed to remove 7 TONS of trash from over 18 miles of river with the help of 269 volunteers! Thank you so much to all our volunteers, partners, and sponsors who made these efforts possible.

Common Ground volunteers are still gutting houses. They labor intensively at least 40-hours a week, often working in sheer exhaustion. They face major health hazards from black mold and antibiotic-resistant staph. Security teams stand guard round-the-clock to reduce violence and robbery. Many of the appx 400-person group call themselves anarchists.
We went to Common Ground to teach yoga and provide stress-relief workshops. The participants found it very beneficial.

The Great American Cleanup, a Keep Bristol Beautiful program, took place on Saturday, May 14. Electronic waste recycling (no tube TVs), paper shredding and tire recycling, along with Bristol, Virginia’s household hazardous waste was picked up like the truck full of paint cans shown.
