Pounders Roundup 2012's Beach Cleanup Crew

Octopus flood cleanup. Water damage went 1.5 feet up the wall. Office floors will have to be removed and replaced as will the tank facade of the octopus exhibit. Large dehumidifiers will be in the office and restrooms for around a week, plus additional machines have been brought in to remove water from the walls. Drywall has been removed to expedite the drying process. The welcome ramp was removed and absorbant placed underneath (which will be removed in a weeks time). Damages are expected to exceed $15,000

More than 700 volunteers cleared the James River and its banks of trash and recyclables on Sept. 10, 2016. The cleanup covered 17 sites in the cities of Richmond, Newport News, Petersburg and Lynchburg, and Chesterfield, Henrico, Goochland, Powhatan, Appomattox, Buckingham, Charles City and Isle of Wight counties. This is the 17th year for the cleanup, which is organized by the James River Advisory Council, jrac-va.org.

Hundreds of volunteers helped beautify several Dallas ISD schools on Thursday, April 14, 2011, leading up to Earth Day. The project was sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency and DART, which bused the volunteers to 10 district campuses. Oct, 2007. Powell station was closed and the BART rep doing the announcement was bold enough to say it was due to someone falling on the tracks. I filmed this as we passed by. You can see lots of cleanup personnel, and police.

Mela had to clean up some of our victuals due to moths. After she has emptied the drawer with the noodle and flour, we found this sure sign of intelligence.

The Patapsco Heritage Greenway hosted a cleanup day at the Avalon Area to continue restoration efforts from the flood in late July.

City workers have been hard at work cleaning up the streets.

A mixed group consisting of Soldiers, civilians, family members, Alpini, councilmen and Civil Protection Agency members work together to collect trash near Longare during the fifth annual cleanup day March 24.

Members of the Vicenza Military Community came together to help Italian volunteers clean the town of Longare and surroundings up for spring.
