Made from 12 light frames with 10 dark frames by Starry Landscape Stacker 1.8.0. Plus 4 frames for the corral itself.
Stacking is a necessity for us who shoot the night sky with crop sensor cameras. It does eliminate most of the sensor noise and leaves the image much cleaner than a single shot ever would.
It was such a nice night and I truly enjoyed being out photographing.
I’ve always liked this sign in the Midtown area of San Jose. I pass it often on the way to a favorite taqueria. Well, I used to pass it often. The sign was recently taken down, prompting local preservationists to renew the discussion of how to save signs like this from disappearing from public view.
“Meet The Cleaner”…
I open our "Breakfast Club For Birds" at 8am with nice soft peanut butter (smooth) and top it up at noon with seeds, nuts and crushed fat balls .
High Tea is at 3pm in the winter.. with sunflower hearts and crunchy peanut butter, to help them through the cold nights.
This is our "Cleaner" arriving at 3:30 to mop up the left-overs. the last rays of the days sunshine just twinkling in his eye.
All this happens in my back garden in Felling… My Wife. Cheryl calls it “The Connor Hilton”. I think it’s better than that.
After 70 years of chasing them through fields and woodland I now do it the easy way, make them come to me and hang out of the bathroom window.
And no, I don't smoke pipes 😉. Half a length of pipe cleaner from my Granddaughter's stash of craft materials.

The solar panel was "cleaned up", because it was too disgusting to post as-is. So what you see is a much cleaner version, letting a little bit of reality behind.
Wouldn't that Starling feather pattern make a good weave for a suit?
