Mike is great about integrating education into his river projects. This cleanup was no exception. In the mud, Mike used his finger to sketch up mathematial problems with the kids. They were figuring out many square feet we had cleaned.

Another group of river cleanup volunteers heads upriver towards Waterplace Park.
The grass around the steps is worn bare. After our volunteer Clean-Up there are no cig butts, bottle caps or broken glass.
