This is the base of a power pole, right on the very corner of my property. Not too long ago the cross T on top of this thing snapped and fell down. A crew came out to repair it late at night, turning off my power while doing so. That set is here.

141/365. Garden cleanout continued today, getting up the last of the herb bed and then planting garlic and shallots. The garden is dead, long live the garden! 2025 is under way! (We did leave the tall sunflowers to let them go to seed for the birds, though.) For the rest of the day we had a fun bit of Fliptown before a long afternoon of spinning (to make up for yesterday's Darwin's-Journey-shortened one) and Dungeons & Daddies. Then we had the first apple-poblano pasta of the season, and tried out Doc Martin instead of Midsomer. It was very jarring, not realizing that the two movies in the DVD set weren't actually the show -- what a late-night TV whiplash!
