The clan jetties in Penang
The Clan Jetties of George Town only came about in the late 19th century, following the reclamation of the George Town waterfront that extended the shoreline outward.

An t-Eilean Sgitheanach
Eilean Donan est une petite île du Royaume-Uni située en Écosse, administrée par le Council Area de Highland. Elle est reliée à l'île de Grande-Bretagne par un pont en pierre qui conduit à un château fort occupant une bonne partie de l'île. Cet édifice, construit et remanié à de nombreuses reprises à partir du début du xiiie siècle, est abandonné à l'état de ruine en 1719 à la suite d'une bataille qui l'endommage fortement. Racheté par le clan MacRae, il est reconstruit entre 1912 et 1932 en préservant le style architectural. Depuis, il accueille de nombreux visiteurs qui le considèrent comme le château le plus romantique d'Écosse. Il fait aussi partie des châteaux les plus photographiés d'Écosse et il a également servi de décor pour de nombreux films.
Eilean Donan is a small island in the United Kingdom located in Scotland, administered by the Council Area of Highland. It is connected to the island of Great Britain by a stone bridge which leads to a fortified castle occupying a good part of the island. This building, built and remodeled many times from the beginning of the 13th century, was abandoned in ruins in 1719 following a battle which severely damaged it. Bought by the MacRae clan, it was rebuilt between 1912 and 1932 preserving the architectural style. Since then, it has welcomed many visitors who consider it Scotland's most romantic castle. It is also one of the most photographed castles in Scotland and it has also served as the setting for many films.

We stayed in Fort William and went to Achnacarry to visit the Clan Cameron Museum. Just up the road from the museum was the home to the Camerons of Lochiel.
It was a real out of the way place but an interesting place to visit. I found my name in a book in the museum, but I am not sure we link back to the original Camerons of Lochiel.

Located in the far north western corner of the Isle of Skye Dunvegan Castle was built in stages from 1360 but butchered in the 20 century when it was decided to merge together all of the previous extensions. The method used to complete the appearance was an early form of concrete.
For all MacLeods worldwide the castle has become a pilgrimage as the seat of the chief of the clan MacLeod. The current and 30th incumbent is Hugh Magnus MacLeod of MacLeod.
Did finally manage to capture the whole family of seven in frame. The three cubs on the left with the big boar centre and the sow on the right. One of the 2018 cubs at the rear with the second 2018 animal foraging over the back, I'm sure you will find it.
Since watching at this very local sett over the last nine years, five badgers had been the maximum seen during any yearly period. Ten cubs have been born throughout this time with 3 in 2013 - 2 in 2014 - 2 in 2018 - 3 in 2020

Sadly the cloud arriving at the wrong moment sort of put me off as I didn't get it where I wanted it. For the record its Merchant Navy class 35028 'Clan Line', seen just approaching Shakespeare tunnel with the 1Y94 1351 Dover Priory - London Victoria VSOE 11/9/25.
