I photographed this old tow truck from the thirties in 2002 with my analog Minolta X-700. It was parked in Limbourg in Belgium so picturesque.
The production period of this famous car was from 1934 to 1957. It was conceived by the constructor André Lefèbvre and the designer Flaminio Bertoni, who also created the successor model, the no less famous Citroën DS (production period 1955 - 1975).
A 1967 Citroen DS21 Décapotable, VPA 857F, has been restored to its original specification. This DS21 Décapotable features the earlier style of ‘Frogeye’ headlamps but benefits from using LHM hydraulic fluid. That combination was produced only between September 1966 and September 1967, before the front end was updated with the ‘shark’ style of enclosed headlamps for the 1968 model year. This car is seen at the Classic Motor Hub.

A 1971 British registered Citroën DS, NPW 264M, seen in Gloucestershire. The Citroën DS, and its less expensive variant, the Citroën ID, are front-engined, front-wheel drive executive cars manufactured and marketed by Citroën from 1955 to 1975 in sedan/fastback, wagon/estate and convertible body configurations, across three series.
The 1934 Citroën Rosalie 10 Roadster was an automobile produced by the French manufacturer Citroën.
This convertible version was in production from 1932 to 1937.
The Citroën Rosalie 10 is a precursor to the famous Citroën Traction Avant, manufactured from 1934 to 1957.

First time I ever got to properly drive and experience the Goddes on roads to my own choosing... I can't describe how great that feels. There is no other car, not even another Hydropneumatic Citroën that drives like a DS/ID.
This was no news to me... But to experience it from behind the wheel on the endless B-roads of North-Holland is quite a different story!
Such a shame they are way out of my budget...

I don't normally take photos of cars. This is one exception.
While out for dinner just outside of Copenhagen, I couldn't help but take a photo of this immaculate & beautiful Citroën DS idling at the curb.
This scarab shaped car was awarded “Product of the Century” ahead of the Boeing 747, lunar landing module, and even the Apple Macintosh computer.
It was gorgeous!
I believe 'Citroën' means 'Different Spirit'.
in need of some work; being fixed up where our Citroen C4 is serviced, before a trip around Australia!
