First on CNN's list of the best cinemas in the world is Cine Thisio, the summer cinema on Apostolou Pavlou Street.
"Athens hosts many summer theaters during the summer, but none offer the magnificent view of Cine Thision" writes the author of the article on the CNNGo website.
"From its position in Cine Theseio one can see not only the latest blockbuster, but also the Acropolis and the Parthenon," notes the website, which states that the cinema is the oldest summer cinema in Athens, having been built in 1935 .

Auf dem Gelände der ehemaligen Schiffswerft AG Weser in Bremen wurde von 2000 bis 2004 ein Urban Entertainment Center zum Thema Raumfahrt erbaut.
Bereits nach wenigen Monaten erwies sich das Konzept als nicht tragfähig, so dass das Space Center geschlossen wurde.
Lediglich das integrierte Großkino Cinespace blieb erhalten.

Das Raumfahrt-Konzept wurde gegen ein maritimes Konzept ausgetauscht und unter dem Namen Waterfront eröffnete dann 2008 im umgebauten Komplex ein Einkaufszentrum.

Built in 1754 and completely restored in 1910, the Château de La Motte-Tilly has now been bequeathed to the French state due to a lack of heirs. The US film director Miloš Forman ('One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest', 'Amadeus') used the château and park as locations for his film 'Valmont' (1989), based on the epistolary novel 'Dangerous Liaisons' by Choderlos de Laclos.
