I saw this beautiful flower when I visited my brother in Pensacola, FL. It blooms once a year for just one night briefly, then is gone, just like Cinderella.
"Epiphyllum oxypetalum is a cactus family species from the South American rainforest adapted for pollination by insects including the fairly large gypsy moths. The anthers and multi-lobed stigma are arranged to maximise contact with surfaces of the moths as they enter deep into flower to gather nectar. The perfume is sublime and a pleasure for the lucky photographer. Not so lucky is the fact that 200mm flowers occur once per year and last only one night. It's just past midnight and Cinderella is late again!! The footman and the horse both turned into mice. Wonder where she went!?
Lucky for me it's Ohio State Fair time and there was a wonderful miniature display. Had a hard time selecting my favorite!!

Horncastle is located at the confluence of the rivers Bain and Waring, in the county of Lincolnshire, approximately 135 miles north of London and 19 miles east of Lincoln.

There are some notable historic buildings, including the 12th-century Church of St.Mary and it is a good base from which to explore the surrounding countryside..
We all know the story of Cinderella, with her evil stepmother telling her that if she came home from the ball after midnight, her dress would turn into rags. As you can see here, that's exactly what happened. And her remaining glass slipper is there with her, a bit the worse for wear and rather wet. ;-)

When I first saw this bridge last November I thought it would be a perfect winter scene. So I'm back. Hope you agree.
The Mill Creek Park Suspension Bridge is a bridge in Youngstown, Ohio, United States. The 1895 bridge carries Valley Drive across Mill Creek to connect the east and west sides of Mill Creek Park. Following the wishes of Volney Rogers to create fanciful park entrances, Charles Fowler of the Youngstown Bridge Co. designed the structure. The Suspension Bridge is the oldest of six bridges in Mill Creek Park. It measures 86 feet long and 32 feet wide and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. It has been called the Silver Bridge, the Cinderella Bridge, the Castle Bridge, and the Walt Disney Bridge. (Wiki)

Cinderella may have had the glass slippers, but I'll bet she would have loved a matching crystal bow for the hair, and maybe those nice spurs to deal with the evil stepsisters!

I have to say this is the first time in awhile where there hasn't been a crane or construction wall behind the Castle when I'm in the Magic Kingdom. With it clear for a little while I decided to add a lot more shots from back here because the back side is just so beautiful.
