And if you like the shot you'll probably enjoy our little christmas short movie:
Street Photography in Leipzig. A warm and cheerful christmas-market in contrast to a cold and ordinary day.
Earlier this week I went to the Christmas market again, mainly to enjoy the surprisingly lovely weather that day and to have lunch. The tree and the jar were decorations on the table at which I stood when I had my vegetarian snack. I took the photo because most of the Christmas lights were illuminated despite the bright sunshine and I thought they would make a nice background.

Hagen
Another photo of this beautifully illuminated Roue Parisienne Ferris wheel at this year's Christmas market in Hagen.
The nostalgic Ferris wheel with open and closed gondolas is one of the most beautiful in Europe.
The Ferris wheel is the landmark of every folk festival. The first forerunners already existed in the 17th century. Back then, they were still cranked by hand. Today's models are characterised by modern technology and stylish designs. The Roue Parisienne is without doubt one of the most beautiful. The wheel reaches a height of 48 metres and has 36 rotating gondolas. The play of colours makes the Roue Parisienne a special eye-catcher in the dark and a welcome motif for many photographers!
